I believe we should keep the Governors in the Legislative Branch. While this is my preference based on my wishes for a branch separation of Council and Senate, the irrefutable reason is that we haven't determined with certainty that we are removing all legislative powers from the Senate(governorship).

What if we find that we really do need a second step to the ratification process only to find out that we cannot easily have one in place because we have relieved those previously charged with that task of their legislative duty?

Keep the Governors where they are, in the Legislative Branch.

I too have voted to keep the Governors in the Legislative Branch. That's where the Senate belongs. Governors are not part of the National government. They are a local base representitive of the people, not part of the President's Advisory Council. The Senate belongs with the Congress (the People) in the Legislative branch.

Well, we should quit monkeying around and decide whether we are removing legislative authority from the governors.

Which ratification process are you referring to Donova Zoi? the ratification of constitutional amendments?

You present the best argument I've heard yt for electing governors through local rather than national elections.

Keep them in the Legislature Branch. I came to the DG seeing them there, and I wish for them to stay as they are :).

I voted Executive, for the primary reason that I would like to see legislative power (constitutional and CoL amendments) removed from the Senate. However, I am by no means opposed to giving them such executive powers as the power of the purse. Plus, a legislative body without any legislative power is ridiculous.

I think Governors need to be in the legislative side simply to maintain checks and balances. The governors and the President's cabinet all in one branch would have lopsided representation.
