here is the first set of my asian wonder splashes. The arent very good, but you only splashes for a few secounds when you play right?
daibustu, the golden horde, shoalin temple, silk road, taj mahal, and the yamato and musashi

Are these in civ palette? if they are good job. But they don't look like they are

I think Varwnos is asking if these are on a 256 colour palette with the last 2 colours transparent (usually 0, 255 0 and 255, 0, 255).

He is asking because they look like more than 256 colours.

BTW, I like the splashes.

Yes, if the game comes across a splash with the wrong colour depth, it will shutdown the game to the desktop.

Here is one of yor splashes that I just converted to 256, but I didn't touch up any.

everything civ has to be in 256 colors unfortunately. Theres also Unexisted's splashes, which also have no wonders attached to them.

Theres two Silk Road wonders, and the Rise of Nations imported Taj Mahal, so that takes care of a few

how do I convert to 256 color?

If you're using Photoshop or Paintshop, there should be an option to convert to "indexed color", which basically means 256 color.

Great job on the Yamato. Good idea to make it a modern wonder too, definately one of the most impressive things ever made.

Background looks a bit weird, tho.

In my mods
Daibustu: makes sohei(warrior monks)
Golden Horde: increase chance of leader appearing
Shoalin Temple: makes shaolin monk
Silk Road: pays maintenance for trade installations,
taj mahal:just tourist attraction
Yamato and Musashi:*requires elite navel units* +2 ship movement (I wish there was a +2 ship attack)
