I think it's been at least a year, possibly two, since I made a thread. Cannot say that I have much of a reason for wanting to start this thread other than pretending to be a valuable contributer to this board and beating the scores of other post-secondary students to the punch. In the end though I assume that my feeble attempt at being something other than a sarcastic bum will be recognized for just that. But I promise to answer any and all questions to the best of my ability... until such a time as I no longer feel compelled to reply or even read this thread (which can happen all too easily).

Without further ado (and digging myself any deeper), I give you the "Ask a University Student Thread."

    I dislike ramen noodle soups.

More appropriate question to ask: "How much do you spend on Mac and Cheese, and Chocolate Milk."

    Better luck next time.

I bet this also applys to College Student as well in the United States System ;).

At my college, its done by a buffee style where you just pay a flat rate (Costs very if its Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner). If you want ramen noodle soup for lunch, it would cost you $6.50. I know that sounds rediclous but it aslo covers the cost of drinks at the fountan as well ;).

My major is in Psychology. A year ago, I gotten my Associates in Marine Science before reapplying for another two years for a Major in Psychology.

    How big is your dorm?

How much do you like your dorm/housing?

Do you have a part time job? If so what?

    What courses are you taking?

    What university do you attend?

    Are your teachers douchebags?

How many roommates do you have? Are they cool?

Do you like the college lifestyle?

College football scores from a long time ago. Somehow that one stuck.

If anyone is curious, I'm currently at Pace University in their Downtown Manhattan (New York) campus. I do not live in the dorms, New York native here.

Working on a BBA in Finance, 3.57 GPA at the end of the Fall 2005 term, Politics minor, perhaps will add a History minor to that

I realy dont have a dorm room. I am a commuter student, meaning that I travel to school from my home. I live close enough to my College that I have the luxury of commuting back and fourth :).

Again, I am a commuter. Though I have visited some of the dorms of my friends though.

None, seeking a summer job ATM.

    Mostly Psychology courses

    Mitchell College

There are a few bad apples in school

    Did I just say I was a commuter? :p

Yes, plus its given me a clean slate and a whole new change :D. Since I had to put up with the Middle Schoolers who came along with me in High School and could not get a clean slate. With College, its granted me a fresh new start and a clean slate. Plus I also had many friends who helped me break out of my shell too :).

It was(live in a house now) a double about 12 feet by 12 feet. (Note this guess is totally random and not based upon any fact)

Love it. Great times, although I suspect much different than a residence in the U.S.

Yes. Two. One is at a bar, the other is working for the school.

Political Science major. Yet to decide on my courses for this coming september.

    Queen's University.

I prefer the term flailing cotchs... but no; most are quite excellent.

Had one in residence, live with a bunch of other guys now. They're all super tubular.

    Yes.

I have no air conditioning in my apartment...too expensive.

Hopefully this internship I'll be on with a campaign will provide some relief.

I didn't have AC in my dorm last year. I remember thinking that I needed a change of clothes at about noon, even when I hadn't done anything. The fans were on 24/7, and I went through a few bottles of water a day. It was pretty bad for the first few months.
