The effect of siege in Civ IV is as it was intended to be? Or it was unexpected that siege weapons would have such a major role in game?

Sid doesn't need to answer that one. Soren did long ago. In Civ3, the ranged stack-o-doom was unbeatable. If done correctly, it could take out at least one city a turn with no losses.

True , if the oponent can't use it properly. It is a matter of AI development , not of broken rules. in fact, it was only so effective in Civ III because of RoP rape and AI inefficience to counterattack with the same weapon from the safety of their cities/territory.

These kind of stupid questions, along with a few others are perceivable as an effort to characterize him as a bad person. Your not Michael Moore, so do not try to be. We all know questions like this will not be answered. We need to think about our questions, and BEFORE POSTING THEM, we need to think about his willingness to answer it - its pretty easy to say he isn't going to answer that, along with several others i have seen. I wont pick any more bones but use your brains people, this is a rare chance and i dont want it foiled like this.

I see you did a re-make of Pirates. Gunship may be one of my alltime favorite games, is there any chance of classic re-makes in future works? Stealth Fighter, Red Storm Rising and Silent Service was huge at that time and with your input could be huge again today.

Same here. I really like both Gunship and Red Storm Rising. As for Silent Service, There is Silent Hunter IV which is pretty good.

That's not up to Sid, nor Firaxis. It is up to the company that does the ports. (Aspyr has licensed the other two Civ4 versions.)
