Mutta and the Flintstones
Something strange was happening to the tribe, it began with the people whom usually worked the fires, the hair on their arms always got scorched away and after a while it stopped growing so long, it then spread to most of the remainder of the body, the long, thick and heavy fur gradually got replaced with a short, thin and light one, barely to be called a fur and certainly with no real use against the elements of nature.
No one is sure whether fur clothing was developed because of the introduction of stone tools or whether the stone tools were a byproduct of the attempts by tribesmen to produce clothing to protect themselves, but whenever there is great need, innovation is the only way forward and so the tribe evolved.
The introduction of stone tools brought once more great changes into the tribe’s social structure, areas with certain Furs or Flint could now thrive by manufacturing Clothing and Tools and bartering it for Food, Furs or Tools from other areas and for the first time in the tribe existence tribesmen now traveled to other clans and bartered their surpluses for things they needed.
Food gathering was also revolutionized by the invention of flintknapping, fishing finally became an effective source of food, traps became more effective and now the tribe did no longer rely only on hunting parties and the tracking skills of the hunters.

Mutta was working a pelt, with his crude flint tool he war removing all the flesh that remained so that it would not rot away, he was not really good in working pelts since it bored him, but he was even worse in making tools and since he needed new tools he had to work some pelts so that it could trade some pelts and some smoked food for some new tools with the Flintstone clan north of them.
Mutta though about stealing tools, but last time someone tried to steal tools from the Flintstones they retaliated by attacking the camp, taking most food and some women and killing any men that got in their way. Mutta hated them, they produced the best tools and weapons and while they partially relied on other tribes for their food supply, their tools were so sought after that only during the worst famines they would have a food shortage and most of the time they solved that by raiding other tribes.
The Flintstones were the first clan that settled down in an area, they became semi-nomadic when other clans started to come to them to barter large amounts of food and furs for their tools, the Flintstones quickly became the most skilled flintknappers of the tribe.
