ASNES- Not going to end this time!

Evil girlfriend.....
Here are the Lyrics from a song from Green Day's album "Dookie", which i used to listen to in the mid to late 90's. Its no own story so i don't expect a bonus but its still fun :p
Spoiler Pulling Teeth :
I'm all busted up
Broken bones and nasty cuts
Accidents will happen
But this time I can't get up
She comes to check on me
Making sure I'm on my knees
After all she's the one
Who put me in this state

Is she ultra-violent?
Is she disturbed?
I better tell her that I love her
Before she does it all over again
Oh god, she's killing me!!!

For now I'll lie around
hell, that's all I can really do
She takes good care of me
Just keep saying my love is true

Is she ultra-violent?
Is she disturbed?
I better tell her that I love her
Before she does it all over again
Oh god, she's killing me!!!

Looking out my window for
Someone that's passing by
No one knows I'm locked in here
All I do is cry

For now I'll lie around
hell, that's all I can really do
She takes good care of me
Just keep saying my love is true

Been to busy to write an ol' lady story today at work so far, but any word on the update while I try to think of something!

Update started. It will be posted soon.

Year 4500 BC<<<<<<Update 5>>>>>>>

The Anasazi whipe out the texans, using a deceptive ploy. Rumors of the anasazi deception has spread throughout the american region.

The Anjawa expand north and find a nasty surprise... The Rajai. These tribes at once find eachother as hostile neighbors. They are both bent on expansion. This is, of course, a recipe for war and war does ensue. The Rajai field army meets a small force of Anjawa and put them to flight. The Anjaw chief decided not to take this lightly, and assembled the whole of their army to attack back. The Rajai host of 4,500 well armed men, well coordinated and well led, met with a force of around 12,000 Anjawans. These forces clashed for about a half hour and soon seen the Rajai invasion force retreating disorganised due to the heavy mass of the Anjawa. The retreat was quite disorganised, but the scouting parties were able to set up small ambushes along the way to hinder the Anjawa forces as the Rajai retreated. Reinforcements soon came for the Rajai and they sat on the border, not sure what to do from thereon. The Anjawa seem to not want to trek into Rajai territory, but have no problems fighting them on their own soil.

Rajai men also attack Fendiar, but not nearly to the extent as that of the Anjawa. The Rajai slave raiders soon seen their defeat was imminent and retreated without any blood being lost. The tribesmen of Fendiar have made wooden walls around their border villages so that they can defend against the Rajai in the future. Scouts of the Rajai have picked up on this, and now the Rajai fort settlements have wooden pallisades around them as well.

The Janjaweed turn from their piracy and start fishing and hunting for a living. The slaves are integrated into their society.

A craftsman in Nias has developed the first efficient stone-axe in the world. Of course there have been axes in the world so far, but this one is the first one that does not break every time you use it. He made it out of a stone that is shinier than most stones. He and his offspring continue to experiment with this new type of stone.

Ravindra has a new clan of leaders who have been teaching about the "Great Tapestry of Creation" to the young'ns. Hopefully the new ruler will write a story this turn, as he said he would.

I did not recieve orders for Scantia or Tennessee, which displeases the great Amon very much... Maybe natural disasters may hit these tribes, unless policy on orders in said countries are changed fast.

The Ravindra revered their tapestry. This was without question, what some of the elders had begun to question however was what exactly a tapestry was. It had been mentioned many a time before but no one, not even the holiest holy men though they would not tell you this, knew what exactly a tapestry was. And so a council was called to define this topic before some inquisitive peasant should discover it and disrupt things.

So the Holiest of the Holy convened in the Holiest settlement of all the Holy settlements. After much debate as to what a tapestry was the Holiest decided on one thing, it was a bunch of pictures that showed why they were there and what they were to do. A great discussion arose as to what a picture was, but finally it was agreed that while it was what the eyes saw it was not an eye. It was those funny markings people put on walls to represent real life things.

They needed to create a tapestry, but where? One suggested they draw on walls like others, but it soon became obvious that transporting a wall around could get difficult and it would be hard to produce less holy versions that everyone else could look at.

So it was decided the search would begin for something they could draw on, that was lightweight and easily made. Intellectuals from all over were brought to the Holiest of the Holy settlements and the Ravindra went so far as to expand their borders in search of smart people who had not seen the light.

After much dissapointment the Holy men were losing hope and then a young man arrived. He showed them a substance that could be written upon quite easily, was lightweight but also fragile. Water would ruin it and fire would leave nought but ash behind. When asked how it was created he said the plants themselves were the ingrediants. This was the sign the Holiest of the Holy decided, if nature itself would provide the Tapestry, than The Gods work could truly be accomplished.

Soon the Tapestry was complete, people flocked to the Holiest of the Holy cities to live near the wondrous thing and it soon grew in size and continued growing. The people named the city Tapest. And all was well.

Of Eagles, Coyotes and the birth of the Aztex
Before the Conquest of the Texans slavery was unheard of for the Anasazi, the ownership of another person was a concept that most Anasazi did not approve of, a person might choose to serve another to repay a debt, but it will be up to that person to decide when a debt is repaid and the servitude ends, with slavery one is servant for life, without having a debt or being allowed to decide when its to end its servitude, the Anasazi found this Abhorrent and the system came under heavy pressure as soon as GWB died.
It was soon decided to end this system and assimilate the Texans tribe and the Anasazi tribe, the Tribe which would be created will be called the Aztex (Anasazi/Texan).

The Texan tribe greatly enriched Anasazi culture with their own, the Anasazi, whom considered themselves the peoples of the Eagle, they believed that their ancestor spirits inhabited the sacred eagles and constantly watched over the tribe, on the other hand the Texans considered themselves the peoples of the Coyotes, they believed that their ancestors spirits inhabited the sacred coyotes and that they drove the herds of Game towards the land of the Texans to bring them plenty of preys, they also believed that sacred men could talk to coyotes, these sacred men lived as hermits away from the tribe and took a coyote companion to and hunt and live with, this has been witnessed by some Anasazi and has sparked great interest in the tribe.

Orders:
Free and Absorb the Texans and their Culture, founding the “Aztex” tribe
Increase Economy by digging big holes into the migratory paths of the Buffalo herds and covering them with branches, trapping large amounts of Buffalos.
Use the Population boom and the canoes to expand north and south along the river.
Study the Texans sacred coyote men and attempt to learn how to (semi-)domesticate coyotes.

Nice update, fun times are ahead.

Indeed there shall!

Hopefully Amon gets online today to respond to me since I may not have internet access all weekend (upgrading computer and its being a tricky little son of a..............)

The Gods Above:
One day a young man around the age of 15 was out walking under the sun to the fields where he worked. It had been a particularly long dry season and folks had been starting to get worried about when the rains would come and nurture the fields where their produce was planted. The wind started to pickup and when the boy looked into the sky he saw what he swore later was the face of a God. The face appeared to be smiling at him, telling him not to worry about the rains – they would come and everything would be alright.

The boy then ran the rest of the way to the fields. Once he got there he told the older men and women that worked in the fields along with him what he saw. The people just laughed at him and told him he must have dreamed it up while baking in the sun since there was no clouds out and no signs at all of the rains. He swore up and down that it wasn’t true and that what he had seen was real. Still no one believed him – until a few days later. About 4 days after this boy had seen the face in the clouds a mighty thunderstorm blew in quite rapidly taking everyone by surprise. The torrents of rain drove everyone under shelter except the boy who saw the God in the first place. He alone stood out in the rain, wind, lightning and thunder apparently unaffected by it. As the rains slowly calmed down and the winds died down people started to come out and see how the village had done. What they saw was this boy standing right where he was when it first blew in looking up into the sky and smiling.

The accounts of what people saw when they also looked into the sky varied but one thing they know for sure is that there was a face in those clouds, what it meant no one knows but that boy went on to become the chief of the village and then the chief of many surrounding villages. Wherever he went things took a turn for the better, some even though that one day he might be placed in charge of the whole tribe as chief of chiefs, but only time would tell that.

From that day on the Fendiar have worshipped the Gods of Nature. From the God of Storms and Rain, to the Goddess of the Earth, from the God of the Woods, to the Goddess of the Rivers: people worshipped and prayed and life for them was better.

e350tb and princeps is banned from joining this NES......... NOT! I apreciate new NESers to this NES, and encourage the growth of this NES into a NEStropolis. I expect stories and orders, however. A story for your country would be most apreciated at any rate so that I know how to put your stats.
