This looks like the safest spot to mention: I'm on holidays from chess, as I have to deal with some RL events so I can get my concentration back for chess. Hope you all understand!

Caused me to time out on a couple of games today for another group, unfortunately. Hope they didn't think I did it on purpose, because I have now left the group.

THE POWER OF CHESS (annoying all caps theirs not mine) & THE CHESS PLAYERS TEAM both have 97% win ratios (granted probably at least 75% of those are timeouts).

But we could take 'em. Want to take out Power of Chess first? (alongside our Team Italia game)

Not specificly team related but I got Eric to fix Vote Chess so teams that win on time after the first move or two don't get any points.

Doesn't look like it's retroactive but I suspect we'll be able to make a lot of headway & perhaps enter the top 10 permanently (if this rule was already in place we'd already be in the top 10).

This was in direct response to me starting a thread & PMing Erik after I noticed the Fast Players Group & Power of Chess were spamming another team I was invited to (The Jokers) with Vote Challenges for 1 hr, 30 minute & 10 minute games. They did this because in that group everyone is an admin therefore anyone can accept the challenges so they knew at least a few people would accept & then forget about the games.

That's why I like chess.com (and CFC), the staff are open to suggestions.

I've got some solid news:

I'm signing the lease for the apartment this Sunday evening, and will be moving into town by the end of the month! After that, I think I'll be able to return to chess. Sorry for the delay this move is causing to those I'm playing here.

That's despicable. Why bother?... What good's being high up in the ranking if you didn't earn it?
