At Least 120 Dead in Paris Attacks

How do you define "the West"? I define it as white Christian "crusaders" waging wars in Muslim lands... Putin's been slaughtering Muslims for close to a couple decades and many Muslim veterans of those wars now fight for ISIS... And before that Russia was killing Muslims in Afghanistan. I'd say Russia and Putin are part of the west in the eyes of Middle and Near Eastern Muslims.

Putin's whole political platform is built in opposition to the West.

I don't think ISIS read Putin's platform.

Unless Putin has converted, I don't think ISIS cares and he is a target.

We in the West don't think he's part of us. To ISIS and their like he's just another crusader.

Our definition of "the West" aint relevant and aint the same as ISIS or Muslims, which is relevant, but their definition includes crusaders

Putin's whole political platform is built in opposition to the West.

Putin's definition of "the West" aint relevant either and aint the same as ISIS or Muslims, but Putin seems to be devoting much of his energy to them so I'd have to quibble with your assessment ;)

Isnt ISIS just group of some pathetic looners completely overlooked by entire muslim world and staying alife only due to an attention of western media and its consumers? They dont care who has converted since they are the least pious of their kind if not the opposite. Turkey allows them to linger on by taking in their oil and Russia isnt even targeting them. The attacks were performed by Europeans and the ISIS just fits the narrative nicely...

Oil money and media attention keeps them alive in the eyes of the west. Locally, they get attention because they are killing people and taking stuff. They are bad neighbors.

I am bumping this thread since the report into the atrocity has been released and it looks like what happen in the Bataclan Theatre is far more gruesome than what we have been told.
http://heatst.com/uk/exclusive-france-suppressed-news-of-gruesome-torture-at-bataclan-massacre/
But prosecutors at the hearing claimed these reports of torture were “a rumor” on the grounds that sharp knives were not found at the scene. They also claimed that maybe shrapnel had caused the injuries.

Q. For the information of the Commission of Inquiry….can you tell us how you learned that there had been acts of barbarism within the Bataclan: beheadings, evisceration, eyes gouged out …?

Investigator: After the assault, we were with colleagues at the passage Saint-Pierre Amelot when I saw weeping from one of our colleagues who came outside to vomit. He told us what he had seen.

Q. Acts of torture happened on the second floor?

Further on the investigator described how this was kept from relatives:

A. Bodies have not been presented to families because there were beheaded people there, the murdered people, people who have been disemboweled . There are women who had their genitals stabbed.

Q. All this would have been videotaped for Daesh !

A. I believe so. Survivors have said so.

...

Prosecutor: I specify, for the sake of clarity: some of the bodies found at the Bataclan were extremely mutilated by the explosions and weapons, to the point that it was sometimes difficult to reconstruct the dismembered bodies. In other words, injuries described this father may also have been caused by automatic weapons, by explosions or projections of nails and bolts that have resulted.

Q. Would those have put a man’s balls in in his own mouth?

Prosecutor: I do not have that information.
Cold there be a possibility that there wer others in on the attack? AFer all one of the members of the band at the time of the attack said that he was certain the security guards at the theatre were in on the attack. For his troubles he got vilified for daring to say there were others whom were part of the attack. http://takimag.com/article/surrendering_to_death_gavin_mcinnes/print#axzz4Eb1xViA6

It seems the authorities in Europe are trying to deny the truth, just like they did in Germany.

they are a very practical weapon used by this "West" to create the conditions to be imposed to the peoples of the Middle East . Nobody targets them for good , when the Iraqis were recently getting through them the US joined only in the last day to gain some easy credits . The Syrian border must be close to be closed . With the coup in Turkey there is like nobody left to keep an eye on the Kurdish corridor and true to form Americans arrive to kill some 160 odd civilians , as if to teach their boys upnorth how to do it . ISIL might even disintegrate by the end of this summer if the PR boys can find a time to write a great Kurdish victory .

Agreed. I always saw ISIS as a PR invention spun off from Al-CIAda. For years, all fingers were pointed to Al Qaeda as the enemy we were all supposed to hate...until the U.S. got found out that they were supporting Al Qaeda in Syria. So then they came up with this "it's complicated" politics, and out pops ISIS, who are supposedly even worse than Al Qaeda. In a matter of days, the public's short-term memory forgets the U.S. is supporting Al Qaeda, and now it's a new enemy in town, ISIS.
