Alright. I cut some stuff out of this update so as to speed this one up. Apologies for the delay! I will be doing some stuff before the next update to catch up - 1 new corporation (shares won't be available until next update), civilian and military inventions, WMD rolls, new resources, and RP bonuses.
Some changes.
Carriers no longer have their own bombardment numbers; any planes you have them carry offer those. Carriers now carry 10 units instead of 5.
48 hours after the update, I do espionage. Ergo, send your espionage ACTIONS (not your spending; spending should be in the regular orders PM with all other spending) as a separate PM within 48 hours of the update for them to count. I will then calculate the espionage and 48 hours after that, standard lock ensues. This allows players to change orders in light of new information and also keeps the time between updates more interesting, while slightly reducing my total workload come lock. So,
espionage due in 48 hours, orders due in 96 hours.
Finally, occupation rules have needed codification with increasing amounts of war. Youll notice the Occupation Zones tab in the rules. It basically details the economy of occupied zones and how much of them the insurgency has control over. Every turn, whoever is numerically superior in a territory gains more territory. To keep insurgents from gaining land, you must outnumber them long enough to completely eliminate their grip on land, and once thats done, you need to keep as many troops as they have present to keep them from becoming an issue. Only Tanks and Infantry can combat an insurgency, as the other units are only good at open combat; as insurgents hold the initiative in a war, any artillery they have count towards their total forces. Simply specify how many forces you wish to occupy the war zone, and they will stay there until you relocate them; they are tracked in the Occupation Forces columns.
This is a simplistic insurgency system but simplicity is a must to keep such a complex game from making me go insane.

The Zulu have conquered the Cape and may do as they wish with the territory. As the government has fled to parts unknown (presumably Germany due to an influx of Cape wealth there), the Zulus plan for the Capes future is of much interest. (Double A, your proposal to the Cape for peace will not count as a summit, given that you whooped their asses)
The Burmese have allowed PPP forces through their land, thus allowing a seizure of much of Indias territory and production by the Korean-led coalition. With the Indian defeat on the sea, analysts speculate if the Indian Republic will concede defeat or continue the fight.
Meanwhile, financial difficulties have caused Benelux and Olmoliqq to sell off their stake in their major companies, as well as some of their smaller holdings.
