(1) I am of course the unique freak, ENEMY ACE™,
(2) I do of course like aircraft,
(3) I do of course love Civilization 1...

Hence my marvelous retro-bomber from Civ 1!

Back in the days as a commonfolkian I went with a Musketeer mostly because I liked the colouring on it, and the fact that my two hitpoints rendered me invincible to the peons running 'round the fields with their swords and big sticks at the time

At least my vernable war machine can actually DESTROY something! Not just reduce it to one hit point...like in CIV3!

Not like your pretty, but rather hamstrung silver 1 billion dollar frisbee.

Anyway it's the man not the machine that counts.
And we all know a hippo can't fit in that cramped cockpit!

i would say that the crusader comes from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. That just popped into my head (the whole medieval and crusader and the Knights of Ni thing) Of, course, i have the Civ3 Babylon Bowman, my name is mummyman but i don't particularly like the egyptian chariot mainly because i think it blows as a combat unit in the game. I like the bowman because I always loved the old archer in Civ2 but this one just looks so damned cool. I also like Babylon as a civ. But Egypt will always be my favorite.

I'm not sitting in there you dolts. I'm on the battlefield, deep within the trenches lying in my recliner next to the refrigerator. The wonders of remote-controlled vehicles haven't graced the ENEMY (TM)'s side yet I see I can indulge in a platter of tuna while toying with your inferior machine at the same time!

I chose the Civ1 chariot because it brings back fond memories of those early computer-gaming days (early for me, at least). Also, in Civ1 the chariot was my favorite unit because it was powerful, looked really weird and nothing like a chariot, and I didn't have the attention span to play a game into the later years very often.

A couple months after I registered somebody pointed out that my name and avatar fit together, but I didn't think of this when first registering.

My avatar chges fr time to time, to fit my mood. Currently I am using sort of a WW2 tank I think. Cos my German succession games got me all bloodthirsty and howling for enemy blood and corpses.

Is enriched uranium worth so little as $64000?

Well, under the old rules, I got as far as phalanx.

When they changed those, I first became an aircraft carrier, as I thought it looked cool, and imagined myself as headquarters of an enormous battle fleet. Then I became the mechanized Infantry of Civ 3 because it looked freakin powerful.

Of course, with more avatars added, I choose the original Enterprise, as it is the ultimate image of Star Trek (though Corn's ship could kill it with a few disruptor shots, assuming Kirk isn't command of course).

Reason I use the avatar I use: Because we aren't allowed custom avatars I figured the best way to keep a "civish" feel to the site was to pick an Orc........
Plus I haven't seen anyone else use it yet.

(1) : Nobody else have this or even near to this -style avatar (in OT forum);
It's easy to regognice me from my avatar.
(2) : It looks quite decent.

And yeah, I know regognice is spelled wrong.
