I have no problems with it, but its a fine line to tread. Usually my opinion is that as long as your intent is not the abuse the PBEM system and you aren't forcing other players to replay turns, you are good. Everyone makes mistakes. As long as it was a mistake and not just a bad oversight that you are trying to "benefit" by 1 turn of extra research after the fact!
 
Haha cheers dude. Yeah I wouldn't have asked if the turn had moved on further, it was just a research decision we had discussed and then one of those things that completely passed him by on playing and he only realised when I asked how many turns until we get the tech. Not major if it didn't change but nice that we could get it done this turn and not next.

This game is moving nicely now too.
 
MTS said he would be back this last Friday so I have not played his turn since then. However, if I do not hear from him by this evening I can go ahead and play his turn so as to get this game moving again.

Anyone have an issue with that?
 
No issue, but maybe check with civtilidy first. Obsiath is away too and if he isn't going to play obs turns for him then there isn't much point you playing that one turn.

I am sorry to see you go; but I suppose it can't be helped. I would like to try to keep the theme of the game going with 2-man teams, do you or Michkov know of anyone one who would be interested in joining as a replacement? Or should I post for one?
 
I have already made a post in the replacement thread concerning a new teammate for me. While we wait I'll hold down the fort and play Kens turns

I have a good GPS rate but I find Mondays are almost impossible. I'm lacking a tiny screw driver to fix my display on my laptop but that will be fixed tomorrow evening or I'll buy a new rig.

Cool that was a fairly speedy replacement! As for screwdrivers, surely you must have one somewhere from christmas crackers? They always seem to have one with the 3 different mini screwdrivers that exist... Like the only useful thing that comes out of crackers really!
 
Opening and closing my laptop as often as I do has started to wear it out, I've been ready for a new rig though I'm just squeezing as much time as possible before the new title game comes out.
