Yeah those archers looked strange to me. I couldn't really place the design.
The guy who sneaks up on the father just prior to that is pretty unique looking too.

That happened so fast, I couldn't really make out his design.
...and there's going to be date palms as well and the dev team said that there would be more female leaders from unrepresented areas. On the subject of the archers: I've been doing a LOT of searching since the trailer first dropped, because I swear those horse archers aren't Mongolian, on account of the lack of fur in their armour (which isn't necessarily a rule in Mongolian attire or anything, but if they were a reference to them, surely they'd make 'em furry?). Anyways, I found this:

(Lamiskana Orbeliani fortress)
It's a fortress within the Kingdom of Kartli, which existed from 1466 to 1762, long after the Mongols were relevant. The design is very similar though it's not a perfect match, and the one "featured" in the trailer (assuming it's meant to refer to anything) could have been built centuries earlier for all I know. I'm no Georgian historian and Georgian architecture ain't my strong suit. But pair this image with the Caucasian mountains in the backgrounds and I would say that that scene was very likely set in Georgia.

Thus, Tamar of Georgia (it helps that her name means "date palm" in Hebrew).

It's way more elaborate, but here's a tunic with repeating triangles like the warriors the Mongols are fighting. apparently it's a style called khevsureti talavari. the second guy even has a tiny buckler.

so if we list the parts in the trailer (P.S not in order)
- korea
- netherland
- mongol and/or georgia
- rome
- germany
- exploration civs
- US
- an ancient civs
excluding existing civs that have part in the trailer, we got about 5 parts (6 if we count rome part as other civs) about new civs, it's possible that both mongol & georgia are picked
