Which Way Did He Go?

Elrohir said:And I agree with what he said; but not necessarily what he did. I would say that there is a difference between fighting a guerilla war, even one where you neccessarily hide inside a civilian population, and deliberately set up civilians to die. I don't see a moral difference between what Tigh did and simply shooting 10 people on the street; you have to deserve to win.
Maybe that's why I like this show. It makes you think about "stuff".![]()
They should have taken out the Pegasus rather than the Cloud Nine.
That's true, but they could have tricked us somehow - like having them sneak it onto the Galactica and then transporting it to the Pegasus, or something, and having the episode before the season finale end with the bomb on the Galactica, and no one mentioning that it's going to Pegasus. That would trip a few people up.Wolfe Tone said:Yes, but that's what everyone was expecting.
But he specifically said that what happened was "better than he could have hoped for". He did something that he knew was going to endanger lives, and was clearly pleased when people died as a result - where I come from, I believe that's called "depraved indifference to human life", and is felony murder.Winner said:I don't think he wanted Cylons to find those weapons, he just said that it turned out good for them.
Very much so. BSG has a much more nitty-gritty feel to it than most shows, which is one reason I like it. It's different from pretty much anything else on television. Monk is funny, Stargate is entertaining, and Law and Order is interesting - but BSG is different from all of them; it's real and yet sci-fi. Very interesting.Definitely. One has to love that "throw them out the airlock" atmosphere![]()
That's what I would assume to, especially as they seem to be trying to get the show back to it's roots - running from the Cylons, again. You never know, though, they like throwing us curveballs.Personally I think they spared this ship because they need her to get people out of New Caprica. I guess they'll destroy her during the exodus from NC.

Not enough humans left to be indifferent about any of them dying.Winner said:Well, maybe if someone massacred pretty much entire Earth's population, we would be indifferent too. Few more bodies in exchange for survival of the species, does it matter?
VRWCAgent said:Pegasus has to get blown up soon. The name of the show is Battlestar Galactica and it's supposed to be on its own in a desperate struggle. I don't like the other battlestar being there.

Or alternatively, 'Dad & Son cruisin' the galaxy'.![]()
Masquerouge said:Battlestar Galactica is one of my top 3 show. One thing, however, annoys me to no end: they're supposed to be only 45,000 humans, and yet they have a medias industry that would put a nation of millions to shame. I mean, they have at least 3 TV stations, and every press conference is filled up with dozens of journalists. What is it, Capricia was a breeding place for journalists?

Winner said:Are you crazy? He is the best character in BSG. He is a slimy coward, but the character is well written and very rich.
When the attack occured, there was a ceremony on BSG, with probably several journalists attending to cover the event, and they were trapped there.Masquerouge said:Battlestar Galactica is one of my top 3 show.
