Battlestar Galactica you Toaster!

Yes, but that's what everyone was expecting.

And I agree with what he said; but not necessarily what he did. I would say that there is a difference between fighting a guerilla war, even one where you neccessarily hide inside a civilian population, and deliberately set up civilians to die. I don't see a moral difference between what Tigh did and simply shooting 10 people on the street; you have to deserve to win.

I don't think he wanted Cylons to find those weapons, he just said that it turned out good for them.

Maybe that's why I like this show. It makes you think about "stuff". :)

Definitely. One has to love that "throw them out the airlock" atmosphere ;)

They should have taken out the Pegasus rather than the Cloud Nine.

Personally I think they spared this ship because they need her to get people out of New Caprica. I guess they'll destroy her during the exodus from NC.

What will happen to Lee WHEN the Pegasus is destroyed. It would be pretty hard to go back to being the CAG after being in command of such a cool ship

That's true, but they could have tricked us somehow - like having them sneak it onto the Galactica and then transporting it to the Pegasus, or something, and having the episode before the season finale end with the bomb on the Galactica, and no one mentioning that it's going to Pegasus. That would trip a few people up. ;)

But he specifically said that what happened was "better than he could have hoped for". He did something that he knew was going to endanger lives, and was clearly pleased when people died as a result - where I come from, I believe that's called "depraved indifference to human life", and is felony murder.

Very much so. BSG has a much more nitty-gritty feel to it than most shows, which is one reason I like it. It's different from pretty much anything else on television. Monk is funny, Stargate is entertaining, and Law and Order is interesting - but BSG is different from all of them; it's real and yet sci-fi. Very interesting.

That's what I would assume to, especially as they seem to be trying to get the show back to it's roots - running from the Cylons, again. You never know, though, they like throwing us curveballs.

Maybe he'll go down with his ship...

No, girls wouldn't survive losing Apollo

Well, maybe if someone massacred pretty much entire Earth's population, we would be indifferent too. Few more bodies in exchange for survival of the species, does it matter?

Let's hope they won't screw this show up. So far, it has only one or two bad episodes, which is spectacular.

Not enough humans left to be indifferent about any of them dying. ;) And besides, when you have to create your own atrocities, something is seriously wrong with your movement.

Pegasus has to get blown up soon. The name of the show is Battlestar Galactica and it's supposed to be on its own in a desperate struggle. I don't like the other battlestar being there.

They can always change the title to 'Battlestars Galactica and Pegasus'. :p

Or alternatively, 'Dad & Son cruisin' the galaxy'. :ack:

Battlestar Galactica is one of my top 3 show. One thing, however, annoys me to no end: they're supposed to be only 45,000 humans, and yet they have a medias industry that would put a nation of millions to shame. I mean, they have at least 3 TV stations, and every press conference is filled up with dozens of journalists. What is it, Capricia was a breeding place for journalists?

No industry? No jobs except for the immediately needed? Galactica in the middle of a media event when the Human takedown happened? I can see the writers spinning this a thousand ways and making it work.

Will Pegasus survive Season 3? Can't wait...:scan: Remain calm. Breathe deeply. Patience.

Well he is a bastard so I support his death even though I have 2 seasons of him to watch argh.

I hope Baltar is killed soon.

I know he is so easy to hate isn't he? Maybe that's why I enjoy a love/hate relationship with him. He's got class but he's also a sniveling coward.

Still though, the old Baltar was cooler. I mean all he did was sit on that big Cylon chair and tell Lucifer to "Let the attack begin". How cool is that?

Being a Bastard can still make a character likeable, but in conjunction with being a annoying upper class twit who is consistently a coward is what makes me hate Baltar.

Also, I think the should introduce a robot character similar to Bender as the ruler of the Cylons.

Are you crazy? He is the best character in BSG. He is a slimy coward, but the character is well written and very rich.

I agree, thats why allthough i hate him i cant help but like him also.

I hope they keep the Pegasus. I know what the name of the show is, but the story here is bigger then just one Battlestar that is named Galactica, It's a story about the whole human race. I don't get whats the big deal about having two Battlestars is? This story been about then just the name of the show for along time now.

When the attack occured, there was a ceremony on BSG, with probably several journalists attending to cover the event, and they were trapped there.
