hey board

i don't wanna overstep my rank here (humble lurker and time-to-time-poster^^)

..but i'm seriously impressed by Bautos42's map. this was a MASSIVE work. with all the finetuning going on right now it will be perfected soon.

thus i want to start this thread where we can give credit to Bautos42 for his efforts. (this can be deleted later, i guess..i don't wanna clog the board). we have one thread for leoreth..which is kinda self-explicatory..but this map...man, this map will push 1.16(i guess it won't be in 1.15, right?) on a whole other level.

again...Bautos42...you've done good. very good. thanks for your work!

Yeah!

Hey, you have a Mao avatar, can't you give him a "Hero of Socialist Labor" medal or something? I know I once gave one to Leoreth.

Bautos42's new map is the most exciting thing to happen to this mod for months
What about Leoreth basically merging the entirety of History Rewritten?

Seems cool, but I have zero familiarity with History Rewritten, whereas I've been clamoring for a larger DoC map for years. (Check my post history) The current one is just to cramped and small, both for gameplay, historical accuracy, and feeling epic.

Also, I don't use GIT, so I can't really see the effects of the HR merge, whereas I can see the screenshots of the new map.

Knoedel is referencing the new Tech Tree, which IMO is amazing.

You say you don't use GIT, I really suggest you try out the GIT version, you can download it if you don't feel like taking the 2 minutes to set up a download folder. We could really use more eyes on the GIT version, there's a huge amount of civs in game, and we can use as much feedback as possible. Plus, the GIT version is insanely stable. I've yet to hear about any crashes or corruptions, the gameplay is relatively balanced for a in development game, and Leoreth puts out fixes super fast.
