I'm starting up a new team and want to help it along the way for a bit, but I don't want to add all my points from this team.

How do I start crunching a few work units for a new team without giving them the ones from this one? On the same computer, that is.

You cant give the ones you have already done away..

Simply change your team number and anything NEW will start going to the new team.. what you did for TeamCFC will remain.

Fidling around I figure the results will not carry over, if I just change team in the config. The reason I got confused was that for some reason the team hasn't been created and so the name I used has been credited with everyone using that name.. does a team not exist until the first work unit has been delivered for it?

If I have to wait another day and a half for this wu to finish, well, duh

Oh, and I'm not quitting this team, just going to get the new one running until people there run with it.

I might do the same on another forum. Still have to motivate myself, since the people are not very nice there. It has over 100k members though, so it might be worth the hassle.

Look what Sloz did with this group! He's literally changed the world of all those people who wouldn't have done ANYTHING except that he started something.

Every computer folding makes a difference. And the earlier they start, the more of the difference we see (per time unit).

Things aren't working very well for me at other forums, sadly. I wonder, is it the people here who make it work, or something in Sloz's approach?

It will always depend on the forum and how people feel attached to it. Slozenger made it a fun team thing from the get go which helped, and several people have helped keep up the momentum. I'm trying to ally with a mod for my team, it's good to have others run with the idea

I might be able to bring another semi-on all the time computer during spring vacation if all works out well, and I have new computers that work around 3 hrs hopefully each day, and I don't activly belong to any forums so I should be going at full force.

Dammit, the team I set up is still not showing. My completed unit did not turn up the team it just went to a 'waste' team. What do I do to set up my team? I filled out the info they asked for when I did it and I got a team number and thought that was it. Anything else I need to do? I can't even see where I'm able to edit my own team..
