I'm not sure how long that will take to filter through to the overclocking stats , but I'll definitely be checking when I get home from work.

Not sure exactly when it happened but according to Extreme Overclocking and F@H Stats we are now 800!!!! WOoOooOOooOt

Every step matters. The fact that you're lower on the board doesn't matter, the fact that you're doing something DOES matter. Someday, you'll get a better computer; and when that happens, there will likely be a Distributed Computing project that you feel is worth your time.

It's a wonderful feedback loop. Your participation now is helping people realise that DC projects have value. You're giving motivation to scientists to create their own DC projects. Everyone wins.

I think our stats on Overclockers still aren't settled down, we're averaging about 4000 pts per day, have 350k points now, and the top 200 teams already have over 2 million pts. So quick math would put us sixteen months away at best.

So yeah, we need more folders!!

ARG! Your post prompted me to check my current WUs status and I realized I never turned the service back on after playing Civ 4 the other day! 4 days with no production from my main system.

Is there value in recruiting people in other forums? If nothing else, mimicking your signatures in other forums you attend has value. The truely brazen can mimick Sloz's opening thread.
