Rambling and inconsistent
sadly i can't help much for the thread as denmark was pretty much just squashed in that period, we have some battle songs but most of them have not been in use since their writing. most of our stuff that's even leftover today is pretty weak. but for posterity
i remember singing a warped version of this as a kid. this is the recording that's everywhere and it sucks, and there's not much chance it gets better with a more... actually powerful rendition

we actually have some insanely good "fight!" songs or songs of struggle, often tied to the 60s youth rebellion, but they were never used in battle; i incidentally took some time looking into danish battle songs a few months ago for a teaching session, and most of our songs are songs of resistance and has never been used by armed soldiers.
