Which is your favorite anti-american song?

I just discovered a new one: Rammstein's new single "Amerika", seems like the market just can't get enough of this stuff. Sounds like all other Rammstein songs and of course the lyrics are just as dumb as those of any other anti-american song. Damn, you just have to be pro-American if the most disgusting people in your national music business are also the ones who brother to write songs just to attack America. The sick nazi-aesthetics lovers of Rammstein aren't the only ones who did that you know. The radical leftist scumbag known as "Mellow Mark" has also written such a song "Weltweit". Everytime I saw this degenerated piece of junkie **** on TV my opinion was reaffirmed. You know having such enemies is a compliment!

(no, even if you think so you probably don't know this guy it's just that all these green socialist dope heads look pretty much the same):

But well, my favorite anti-american song is "America the beautyful" from DOA. The lyrics are up to the brainless standard but it's still my kind of music.

Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the USA," which is misinterpreted enough by people to think that it was supposed to be pro-USA.

I don't remember the lyrics of "Born in the USA" but why do you think it's "anti-american". Let me guess: some hidden socialist message? ;)

I think born in the usa is heavily anti-vietnam or something.

"Go and kill the yellow man?"

Hey, Bruce, our goal wasn't to destroy Vietnam, it was to keep the communists from destroying it, which they eventually did.

Born in the USA wasn't anti-american. Neither was it pro-american. he was lamenting about the people who were screwed over by the vietnam war, and how things are changing for the worse, in some cases. If you've listened to the rest of the album, he has a couple of other songs that are along the same vein. 'My Hometown' is one, and I think there's at lest one more. But it's been so long since I listened to the album that I don't remember for sure.

Actually, Born could be taken as pro-american...depending on how you listen to it. It could be lamenting about how bad things were at that time, or it could be saying "give me more, I can take it".

With Bruce showcasing his ideology right now, I wouldn't say that he's for anything militaristic unless it's demolishing Branch Dividian compounds.

Midnight Oil: US Forces

In what sense of Anti-American? Against the country in general (die infidel-capitalist-imperialist-scum-lickers, :ar15: :sniper:  ) or just against the current régime? Because I know plenty of those...

The term Anti-American is quite ridiculous, you never hear anybody being anti-Swedish or anti-Italian in the same sense. Most people who are termed that way (nutters excluded) justly oppose USAs ruthless imperialism and also the fact that it is incredible that despite being the wealthiest country in the world also is a country of "misery and poverty" to quote Valdas Anelauskas. However they are also fully aware thatit is also a great country with a lot of things going for it, and just like everywhere else most people there are nice.
Regarding Vietnam, I think it is pretty obvios USA has more than a little responsibility for today's situation, to put it mildly.
Now for some "anti-American" songs:
Kris Kristofferson: Dont let the bastards
John Prine :Sam Stone
Tom Lehrer: Send in the marines
Phil Ochs: Cops of the world
Gil Scott Heron: Work for peace
Roger Waters: The bravery of being out of range

ROLL RIGHT
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lick off the shot my stories shock ya like Ellison
Main line adrenaline Gaza to Tienanmen
From the basement I'm dwellin' in
I cock back tha sling to stone a settler
And breaks him off clean, call me the upsetter
Here comes the hands on the leashes
The cross, the capital, the pale families, the fear and the mouthpieces
The single sista lynch
The cell doors crash
And the master's drums echo, echo, echo, echo, echo, echo
Roll right! Roll call!
But now we're alright, we're all calm!
Roll right! Roll call!
And now we're alright, we're all calm!

This hits like fists bomb with the left and don't miss
With the sickest stilo I spark fear like pigs in the park
Head crack, I hijack the papers
The vapors caught fire up in your mind
Come back rewind one time
Here comes the hands on the leashes
The cross, the capital, the pale families, the fear and the mouthpieces
The single sista lynch
The cell doors crash
And the master's drums echo, echo, echo, echo, echo, echo
Roll right! Roll call!
But now we're alright, we're all calm!
Roll right! Roll call!

We gotta take 'em to tha seventh level
We gotta take 'em to tha seventh level
For their lives and my lives were never settled
Come on, don't freeze when zero hour comes
Come on, come on, don't freeze when zero hour comes
Come on

Send 'em to tha seventh level!
Send 'em to tha seventh level!
Send 'em to tha seventh level!
Send 'em to tha seventh level!
For their lives and my lives were never settled
