Best High Tech War Unit--POLL

Not the perfect word to use maybe, with colonies I mean a city or a group of cities founded or captured far away from main cities.
The AI have time to set those up and unless you're lucky they can be a pain to find

Definatly Howitzers, especialy when you use railroad to get to a target, then attack (almost certainly winning) then return back to it's home city.

ok, thebignastyone...some ppl dont have a computer good enough to play civ 3 ya see? (hey, that rhymed, lol) and civ 2 is still a great game
Theres a forum for ppl like u, its called the Civ3 forum...

Anyway, my fav unit is armor cos its the best all round unit in the game.

Because we like it, and don't think "better graphics" necessarily equates to "better game".

with you funxus. I've played Civ3 for the past 6 months and i'm soo over it. I'm digging my old PC out of the shed as it has Civ2 on it (i lost the CD years ago). Spent 3 years playing Civ2 and never got sick of it...

might take me a while to get back up to you guy's standards though...

Look in the $9.99 racks at BestBuy, CompUSA, OfficeMax, Office Depot etc. You're likely to get lucky, but don't wait too long!
