Off Topic For everyone still running Win98 or WinME you should upgrade to Win XP. I was pleasantly surprised at how painless and easy the whole process was. And it is so much more stable than Win98/Me. I upgraded because the OS decay under win98 was so bad. No more of that (yet). $99 was a small price to pay for a reliable, stable and useful OS.

trevort its expensive and takes a lot more ram.

However XP is really cool.

Would they mind if I changed my system midway? I'm planning to buy a comp. soon but probably won't make it before the dateline. What do I do?

WinXP is a great OS for any computer that can handle it correctly. If you have at least a 600Mhz CPU, and at least ~256MB of RAM, it should work fine, and the stability is awesome.
I had my system on dual boot [XP/98] for a long while and practically never had to use 98... Ended up going for pure XP because of installation problems, last time I broke windows. [I do this far too often by messing around with things meant to be left alone.]

And I also have DX9.0... Didn't feel much of a change when I upgraded, but I try to keep my system up-to-date...

If you haven't signed up already, there is a place for additional information. You could add the fact that you are going to be changing computers. If you know what you are going to get, then you could add the information as well.

Shadowflame - Have a PII 350 and 224MB RAM and no problems (yet).

some of the folks at Breakaway are former Micropose members who have worked on many of Sid's classic games, including Civilization. Partnering with them in the development of this expansion allows us to ramp up the development team so that we have sufficient manpower to make a top notch expansion for Civ III.
If they had done that for the original Civilization 3...

Well at least they learn from their mistakes.

Well, Ive just sent im my Application. I hope they pick me :)
