Having only today just having finished playing Xenogears. I figured I'd ask a question a question:

What excellent games did you just wait too long to play, didn't get a chance to play or didn't even know abouut until long after their release (at least a couple years)? The ones that make you say "Wish I had done this sooner!"


In addition to Xenogears I didn't play the following games until quite a bit after their release:

-Valkyrie Profile
-Chrono Trigger
-Starcraft


Probably more... but those are the biggest ones off the top of my head. Also.. why didn't you play this games earlier?

I didn't play Xenogears because I once played the game for about 30 mins and I remember despising it. I knew I just had to give a second chance though and it kept me in place for until I finished... I must have been either really tired or just insane back then.

I didn't play chrono trigger because my first exposure was some obessed fan in school who made it seem like some crazy game about Frogs.

I didn't play Valkyrie Profile because somehow I simply went without even knowing it existed.

Same with starcraft.

Been waiting for parts of the Resident Evil and Final Fantasy series, because it didn't get released in PC, in addition that I will never get a console just to play a few games.

An excellent choice! I got that game as soon as it came out. But Xenosaga I would qualify for me. Never had the money until much later.

And Suikoden II for me. I bought it...last year actually. Some seven years or so after it came out.
