Beverages you know and love.

Spirits:
Stolichnaya vodka
cheap vodka
any other vodka

Beer:
Czech type pilsner, ie Staropromen, Budweiser (the Czech stuff, not the American p*ss)

Given the merchandising that goes on these days, does anyone know if "Duff" beer is sold anywhere? :D

Favourite Beer: Harvey's Bitter (A beer brewed in Lewes, Sussex)

Favourite Spirit: Gin. About the only spirit I drink, actually.

Wine: Red only, some Chileans, a Valpoli if at lunchtime, or any half-decent French Red, if only to score Brownie points with the missus.

spirits:
Jim Beam (w/coke)
Tequilla (shooters! straight w/ a lime)
Stoli vodka (normally w/ cranberry juice)

wines:
whatever, i'll drink it, but I'm otherwise pretty clueless vis a vis the grapes

Beer (now we're talkin'):
Becks
Sam Adams
Fat Weasel
Newcastle

Fav beer: Im not very pickly, Canadian, or Kokanee will do

Spirits: Jack Daniels, Jim Beam, Royal Reserve

Wines: Zinfandel ;) Actually other then the family vino, I rarely drink wine.

My faves - green tea, soya bean 'milk', ice lemon tea, lime juice.

Oh, only alcoholic beverages? Sorry, not really a drinker.

I haven't consumed hard drink in many a year.

What I used to like:

Spirits: Rum. I really liked rum + coca cola.

Wine: Other than wine coolers, I never drank wine.

Beer: I pretty much always hated beer. The only beer I could tolerate was Molsen's Golden.

Now I don't drink anything harder than IBC Cream Soda. :D

Potcheen (sp?) for anybody that doen't know, is Irish moonshine thats made from potato skins.
Its illigal here (as far as i know), and is hard to come by.
An Irish pub near my house has it, and I tried it once.

Pure rot gut.

Ive also tried absinthe, didnt care for it.

Had some Kentucky Lightning in the Army, it made my eyes water even though I was a big Jack Daniels fish at the time.

To tell the truth, I dont drink hard liquor anymore, just beer and wine, and not often.

I work at a fancy French restaurant, and have been fortunate to sample some of the best wines in the world.

I like Belgian and German beers the best.

I don't drink alcohol, never have never will.

A few favorite drinks of mine:

Red Bull - I love it.

Earl Grey Teat - I love it.

Water - I love it.

A special cherry drink, dunno the name, only know how to make it (Natural sour cherry syrup mixed with water) - I love it.

Mango A Go Go (Jamba Juice) - I love it.

Mango Raspberry swirl (Elephant Bar) - I love it.

Strawberry Margarita (Virgin) - I like it.

Beers
Rooster Yankee
Rooster Hooligan
Coniston Bluebird

Nothing else in the world approaches them. All made by tiny breweries in the Uk. All are subtle and complex.

Wine
I'm a sucker for Sauternes. I would like to drink a bottle of Chateau D'Yquem before I die.

Spirits
Just put me down for a few shots of Southen Comfort....then pick me up in the morning - and a long cool gin 'n' tonic now and again and again and ....

Spirits:
Grey Goose Vodka - frozen
other Vodka's - mit applesaft
Bacardi White

Wines:
Shiraz - Evans and Tate is just down the road
Merlot

Beers: For taste
Leffe - Belgian
Samuel Adams Boston Lager - American
Hahn Premium - Australian

For Speed and races
Bud, Miller, Coors Light - they are all pretty much water and can be slammed down fast and won't get you drunk.

Sebor Absinth is in a class all by itself. I love the Green Fairy.

Beers - Preferably Heineken, but most Dutch, Belgian or German beers will do just fine...
Wine - :vomit: Well, that's what happens if I drink just one glass, I just can't keep it down.
Spirits: Glenfiddich single malt whiskey is the winner by a mile, sometimes rum or vodka...

My favorites

Spirits:
Scotch
Gin

Wines:
:vomit:

Beer:
Guinness
Beck's Dark

But I'll drink any beer that's offered. Well... unless you call cran-raspberry Sam Adams or that weird Tequiza stuff beer. :D

Beer:
Newcastle Brown Ale or a Carlsberg

Whiskey:
Glenlivet 12 or 18 yrs.

Spirits:
I rarely if ever drink hard liquor so I don't have a favorite
t
Beer:
I hate pretty much all beer, except "Weissbier" - Franziskaner

Wine:
I pretty much love any wine: Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Fendant, Merlot, Zinfandel, Riesling, ...

Read aobut it in Malachy McCourt's "A monk Swimming", seems like good stuff. :D

Anyway,

Spirits:
Aalborg Aquavit
Thors Hammer Vodka

Beer:
Amstel
Carlsberg

Wine:
Mosel Whites

Spirits: Gin and tonic, especially w/ good gin -- like Bombay-Sapphire.

Tequila -- very fond of Don Julio.

Absinthe is weird stuff. Can't say I much like the taste, but ONE shot I was quite drunk for hours...

Beer: Corona.

Wine: Shiraz (or syrah) Chianti or a Red Zinfandel. Red is tastier than white.

Ah, I'll add my hard liquor favorite to my list, inspired by Mojo.

I'm a Tanqueray and Tonic fan myself as well.
Tequila is an evil drink, but there's nothing like sitting outside with a margarita on a sunny day.

I'm a bit surprised that very few of the Brits list continental beers, especially since Czech, Belgian, German, and Dutch beers are generally considered superior (not my words, don't flame me!).
