How the diplomacy system will work in Civilzation VI. A big thing we know little about other then it will not be the same as in other civilization games.
I feel like we don't fully know whether unique abilities will make a come-back. They've talked about unique units and improvements/buildings, but I don't recall any hard mention about Civ/Leader specific unique abilities.
So what MadDjinn is saying as far as I know is, as we know, there are known knowns, these are things we know we know. Then there are known unknowns, that is things we know we don't know. Then we have the unknown unknowns, things we don't know we don't know...
So we don't know much is what we know, or do we know that? We don't know we don't know much? Or we know we dont know much?

Not something i expect to find out before release but will there be more consistent in length unit combat animations this time around. ( 30 second bomber animations anyone? )
I hope we can leave animations on when planes arrive this time
The most important thing we don't know yet, and I think we can all agree here, is whether the trees will be animated with tree dwellers such as squirrels and elves
Who is responsible for new music? Jeff Briggs or M. Curran/G.Knorr etc. ? Civilization V has a lot different sound; Jeff Briggs did make previous civ. games.

I think the biggest thing is the game engine. We have been told its NEW but is it such that can handle dozens of cities, units and the terrain without stuttering, icons going missing or crashing?
This is my biggest issue.
Our gaming community can take a game play turd and work its magic and fix game and balance issues as we the community need but if the game cant run smooth with all the mods it will need then why bother at all. Civ V is great as is and even better with some of the community mods but it suffers from its engine.
Thus the need to know. Can it utilize all your ram in your PC and is it optimize for multi core/threaded cpus like most of us have?
