Several nations of europe and the middle east have completed pretty much all requirements to start exploration. it is said among profesors in universities that a new era is about to begin.
England appears not to be interested in exploration or naval expansionism at all!, they instead invest into developing their home islands into one of the most populated, infrastructured sectors of the world.
Catholics sign a NAP w/ the protestant british crown, this is a surprising turn after yeras of antigonism.

I would want to be in - but I fear that I don't have time for it. Not to mention that in only one month I'm leaving for army - which means that I'll be quitting NESsing for 6 months. So I don't think I should be joining any more NESes.. sad really, this is one that I'd really like to play

Greece had entered a new era. While many of his neighbours had changed dramatically over the years, Greece had survived the years unaltered. Under Queen Elissa, the Kingdom of Greece had improved its navy to make longer voyages and exploration partys were recruited to explore the oceans in the name of the Queen of Greece. Truly a new era!

Development of new naval technology capable of crossing distant seas have almost been completed! Though certainly not moving as swiftly as other countries to develop this technology, this is due to a long-term expansionism plan which will allow for expansion into distant lands across the seas, as well as lands within the heart of Africa which had once been seen by the Carhaginian Empire...
