The explorations of Africa and Arabia continued without end. Many new lands had now been claimed by ottoman explorers. The problem with the Memalukes had been agreed upon, and the nile land would be traded for 15 PP. This huge amount would be enough to allow exporation by ship! By ship, the explorers could find the lost civilizations of India and Eithiopia much easier. Meanwhile colonization would begin in Arabia.
Sulten Ahmed continued his nation wide journey. His next destination was Jerusalam. His visit to the city brought much pleasure. A parade in his honor brought him to the Dome of the Rock, one of Islmam's holiest sites. He prayed and chatted with local clerics. His journey lasted longer then usual when he was asked to a dinner party a a powerful Clerics house. There, hundreds were ready to greet the Sultun. The rich and elite welcomed him. The Sultun could not refuse to say no and he staid at the party. His visit brought much morale to the shipbuilding region, as no new funds arrived to fill the builders orders. The Sultun assured them that building in the region would soon commence.

I just came back from talking to those spanish ...... things are going from bad to worse, not only was our squadron and the cargo ships taken prisoner, but the small flotilla of settler ships, i am afraid some of the english colonies will take longer to colonise.
I know how dangerous the outlook of europe is .... this might be the one last incident that will start war... why didnt his majesty sent more squadrons?!.
I am going to be used as a scapegoat...i know it, but what was i to do?, we were horribly outnumbered.
The only good news is that 3 ships managed to escape, soon London will know. After that we'll be liberated as our nations relations get better........or

Well what is there to say?, we have started a large campaign, not all of the soldiers we wanted came. this is an expedition of volunteers..... we must win, or else we will be hanged as traitors of the spanish crown.
Nevertheless the spirit is high, the cross is in front of our regiments and our guns behind. We have the best horses we have to offer!, and the most advanced weapons...... some of which are those we captured from the english, it is ironic that the same guns that were meant to help the aztecs will destroy them. Hernan Cortez alone seems to push us through the jungle, i dont know if any other man would be able to do the same.......must go now......it seems we have meet some azte............
And so, a small expedition began to move to tenochtitlan, Cortez heading it, it is now known that the main reason of this gamble was to attempt to stop the greeks from getting there before him. In the South the Greeks pushed w/ an even larger force. The days of the Aztecs were counted, future historians were to ask themselfs "what if the english had sent the advisors and experts earlier?".

The French King, who was present in the vatican immediately rose and headed to Paris. Later statements said that he would volunteer the largest catholic army since the crusades, he also announced that he would not accept the Vaticans gold. for these actions the Pope has given France the title of "Defender of the Faith".

Sultan Ahmed was found dead today in his bed after his visit to Jerusalem. after a long funeral procession, his son has taken power in the Ottoman Empire.
But not an ordinary person, but an extra-ordinary one. The new Ruler is Suleiman, already a national hero given credit w/ many things, from military fame to great statemanship.
The People call him Suleiman the Magnificent.......and many regard him as the greatest Sultan of the Ottomans... EVER.

After several expeditions, the ottoman and byzantene exploreres entered the jungles of india, inside they found that the locals were muslim!, just like their western cousins, the Mogul leader Zahir Babar had just conquered the sultan of Dehli.
The Ottomans were treated perfectly, sending much presents back to mecca. The Byzantenes, not having the same faith received no presents to take home; nevertheless they were welcomed (like the local muslim traditions say). They were given housing and enough supplys to take home. In the Mogul capital the Ottomans and Byzantenes heard of even more incredible legends of even more golden civilizations further to the East, however they were just regarded as childrens tales.
Ethiopia has also been found.....but is just a backwards state that lives the same way it did centuries ago.

The snow was cold. It had always been cold, of course. However, it seemed colder to the Czar as he heard about the news in Europe. Religious wars ran rampant in Germany, and the news came daily that another group of Protestants had been burned at the stake in Such-and-such-burg, and that the Catholic Count of Something-or-other had been assassinated by some religious fanatic.
Westerners, the Czar thought. Always fighting one another in the name of their "Pope," killing innocents because of some "heresy." The Orthodox Church would never do such a thing. We leave these judgements to God. "Render unto Caesar..."
The Czar faced the east. Great promise lurked there. It was virgin territory, unclaimed by any monarch. So it had been since the Tatars had retreated beyond the Don. Europe was closed to Russia. It held no such promise of wealth, except in the New World it had found. But did Mother Russia need to look far across the ocean to see its own "new world"? Wild, unclaimed land, such as the Westerners had been searching for for ages, had lain just beyond Russia's borders for centuries. No sea had barred them; the only obstacle had been Russia's own fear and ignorance.
However, these obstacles would be no more, the Czar vowed. I shall lead my people to their Manifest Destiny, he thought to himself. It may take months; it may take years; it may even take centuries! But someday, the Motherland shall stretch out her arms and touch both Europe and distant and legendary Cathay!

But someday, the Motherland shall stretch out her arms and touch both Europe and distant and legendary Cathay!
