I derivated this unit from the russian naval marine of Walter Hawkwood that i've found in Regiment and Ethnic Diversity of Gedemon and the m16 from Gedemon's Marine with m16 (He had found this rifle from Snafusmith) to do the Brazilian Batalhao de Operaçoes Policiais Especiais - one of the best urban police combat team in the world:

I've reduced the beret to look like the spanish type (the canadian type in Italy we call "Pizza" or "Airplanes' Carrier":D) and turned as the Brazilians wear it. I've changed the coats of arm and just recoloured the T-shirt from spetnaz blue and white lines to black.

Chugg has a very good French Modern General in his Cultural Diversity mod.
 
Nice unit, but actually I still can't figure out how to make use of a police unit in the game. Any sugestion?

I made a custom unit named "Military Police" gave to them PROMOTION_CITY_GARRISON1 (optionally it could be contioned to a prerequisite building as JAIL: <PrereqBuilding>BUILDING_JAIL</PrereqBuilding>)... after in the artstyle i put Carabinieri (found in this thread: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=142970&page=5) for the Italians, the Bope for the Brazilians (Brasileiros) and I want to give Gendarmerie for the French maybe with a re-texturing the Foreign Legion with Famas and so on... standard artstyle with the marines with m-16... I'd like to find a place to every wonderful creation I find in this forum... so when I can't, I create new unitclasses...:D

Yeah... no need to reinvent the wheel when there's already a very excellent French General.

I'm trying to modify the seZereth rifle m1918... either to taking off the loader as to seem the italian ww2 rifle, either to transform in the Mab italian machine/pistol... but when i try to export in nif... then i have a nif of 1 or 4 kb and invisible in nifviewer and NifSkope :confused: Any sugestion? I've seen that Snafusmith is away (in italian it sounds like Haway :)) otherwise i would ask to him... as I've imported the m1918 in his m16a2... :confused:

Maybe try delete bone (this weird shape - below the machine gun) :/

What you should have before exporting machine gun - it should be just pure model (1 Editable Mesh, or 2-3 if you want to make Ammo clip removable) - You can than switch this weapon in nifviewer or nifskope).

BTW you can also texture the model - using this drawing in attachment as a base for texture.

BTW2 Yeah Snafusmith is on the "trip" far away from home - he won't answer before winter (he wasn't on forum since month, so it seems the internet connection is limited there)
