Anyone here watch eith of these 2 shows? I quite like them and before it US Vs Uk sci fi I like Battlestar and Stargate as well. Just wondering if you can actually get them in the US.

Also like Top Gear. A car shpw and I'm not exactly a petrol head.

Drooling with anticipation of Season 3 of Doctor Who firing up over here! Not familiar with Torchwood, but guessing from the name that it is a Doctor Who spin-off?

i think it would bore me to much

Its not the 3rd series, its about the 13th (its the 3rd new series), and torchwood is a spinoff.

We downloaded it in New Zealand. Season 2 and 3 of Dr Who are beter than the 1st IMHO.

I do indeed like the odd episode of Doctor Who.

The new Daleks are truly great fun.

...

The Daleks are just about the only thing i found watchable about Dr. Who (old&new). If only they had told the story from a Dalek perspective... Exterminate! :D

I used to idolise them as a kid, as did my father when he was the same age...In the UK, Doctor Who is a familiy thing!

Anyway, good excuse to post a Dalek image!

Dalek Sec and the lads...!

I am very much loving the relaunched Doctor Who, particularly with Tennant as the Doctor. 3rd Series seems to have been a little weaker compared to the first two, but the last episode was good fun to watch, and and I'm hoping it's the start towards revealing the bad guy I most want to see return

It doesn't surprise me that you find a sort of connection to the Daleks, Till :p

I dont really like sci fi, and it it happens sometimes in doctor who as well.

Its when they suddenly make something up, like, OH WAIT, ITS BECAUSE THE 6TH COMBBULATRON ON THE PLANET ZWEEB EXPLODED 596784 YEARS AGO LEAVING AMAHGON GAS EVERYWHERE!

Yer I hate it when that happens in things.

This summer on Sci-Fi the Doctor returns to the US, I dont know about Torchwood though.

Season 3 has been quite disappointing, although the new girl is very good. The last episode with Mark Gattiss in it was the only good one so far this season. I haven't watched Torchwood, but I've heard its a bit darker than Doctor Who.

You mean 29. It went from 63 to 89 in its original run (26 years) and from 2005 to right now. (3 years) Thus, series 29. Although it's quite fin to call this season three, given the changes in style and presentation from the classics to now.

Love 'em both.

Dr. Who (some more Dr.) and Torchwood are both great. I'm also looking forward to the K9 spin off too.

Don't worry about the links the BBC isn't anal about streaming their shows like the Americans. New Dr. Who show should be up by the end of tomorrow.
