Oh one other question. Should we use names from the original language? For example in Islam Al Sonu, Al Shia'u, Al Sofia, and Al Khoarig. Or maybe even in Arabic script.

I think latin script should do, cuase most players dont understand arabic and dont care

Arians are pretty much a sure bet in my mind. Then I am thinking keeping Mormonism. After that for example the Puritans had a civil war in England. I was think if we having modern religious problems then we can use Baptist and have extremist groups like the KKK. Is that too controversial?

Try to stick to reality, not to the personal views of the posters (including me) here.

If u add Mormons, u can add Jehova's Witnesses and Tele-evangelism too.

I understand your thinking on this one but I guess we should keep the numbers down to a reasonable level for each faith. If we add Christian extremists are we going to add Hindu extremists too?

There are many different possibilities for Jewish sects. There are Pharisees, Sadducees, Essenes, Orthodox, Kabalah, Hasidic (and the various subclasses), Reform, Conservative, Karaites, Zealots, Reconstructionist, Samaritan, Renewal, and Haredi, to name a few. They all had their places, and they generally have great overlap, but which is chosen depends on what you want for this religion. A good cultural choice would be Hasidic, and a good "extremist" group would either be the Zealots (fought against the oppressive Roman rule), or Karaites (they disagree with most modern Jewish beliefs)
More information would be beneficial toward finding good Jewish sects.

If you are going for a more modern flavor, Orthodox, Conservative, Reform, and Reconstructionist would work. For a wide ranging flavor, Essenes, Kabalah, Karaites, Renewal, Hasidic, and Haredi could all work. For a more historical flavor you would probably want Pharisees, Sadducees, Essenes, Karaites and Zealots. A good short list would be Pharisees and Sadducees. A longer list would be the short list, Hasidic, Reform, and Reconstuctionist.

Well for Daoism you can obviously use the famous yin/yang thing that's already there. For Confucianism maybe the Chinese character "ren" 仁　which means "humanity" would be a good choice since it's one of the most important Confucian virtues. I guess Legalism's most famous image is the "two paddles" of reward and punishment so maybe you could have two paddles as an image? I'll have to give Mohism some thought.

If you want a Jewish sect that is really different from the others take the Samartians, I dont know much about them but they call themself Jews and their beliefs are a bit different.
