Random events are flood, tornadoes, mine collapse and such. They would be luck and may affect one player to a worse degree than others. I didn't have much affecting my civ in this game. I can play with or without tech trading so I left my vote out. Villages are another luck item, some may get a tech that way, some may not, so I voted no. I can go either way there too.
I'll be happy to align time to play, zones and turns. Just tell me what they are, besides mabeco.
