BtS PBEM Game - Catweazle

Never having played a quick game before, it is interesting to see how the accelerated production speed vs the 'normal' movement speed interacts...pump out those defenders!
 
broke out BtS and started a game, put in a city based on what I remember of yours (Trainwreck) and found that I had about a 6-10% chance of winning. I will take those odds v the unit counts that I remember being in that city.

Opened the latest save to find additional units :mad: - hmmn - now what?
 
My capital can kick out 1 archer (1 st strike/1 city def.) per turn. It is on a hill, and from where you should be now, across a river.
+50 for base archer city def.
+25 for city def promotion
+25 for hill def.
+25 for archer hill def.
+25 for river
+40 for city def. bounus
+25 for fortify (varies)
so I have archers at 3 + ~175 - 210% (depending on fortification) for around a 9 def. value, plus a first strike. Crossing the river removes 25% but gives me another archer and a few more 5%s for more unit fortifications. My axemen start appearing next turn :).
 
looking for tank(s) ... not finding any ... blast TW and his stupid capital

Your 'step' toward the capital may have saved my other city...that gave me time for walls and a couple more archers....but it is still much more at risk than my capital.....
