Forests don't appear to be any different. This is the Forest Preserve improvement though:

can you be a forest preserve on top of a lumbermill or destroy it?

And I almost did fogott, the HRE UB said something about that if you hade a specific trait (orgenized?) that Charlemange don't have it would give a bonus, something like 50% production.

Would be logical, cause the HRE UB is an upgraded Courthouse, and Org Trait gives you half priced Courts.
 
Does Forest Preserve gives you the 1 Gold River bonus, or does it give you +1Commerce on top of it, so financial would kick in?

I don't think that makes sense. Wouldn't a lumber mill in a forest preserve defeat the purpose of a forest preserve? At least in RL it does. Also, improvements from Vanilla and Warlords don't stack, so I don't see why they would decide that a forest preserve and lumber mill should.

Sorry to bug you Watiggi, as I know you would rather be playing than posting screenshots, but can you post anything about the Cuirassiers? I've been wondering what they were doing with the cavalry units for quite some time now...

I like how the forest preserve works - instead of BtS letting you plant forests, it increases the chance of forests spreading on its own - so if you want more forests, you can simply pillage the areas around forest preserve and wait for it to spread on its own.

Thanks, guess they overexagerated the change to forests. Are you going to delve into the specific changes in Espionage? I'm sure there is alot there. Also like everyone else I'm curious about the changes to the UN, and the form and function of the AP.
 
On random events, In the begining of the I did get a bunch, like one tile did produce one more commerce on a tile, a goldmine did give me 50 gold, bandits made me pay 10 gold, something about scientist has found a natural medecin in the forest, the last one give me the option to just get a bonus or to pay 50 gold or something and get the bonus + 66% chans to get 3 health and 1 free scientist in the closest city.
(I did pay but didn't get the scientist :()
However, then I didn't get ANY random events while the AI did get a bunch. Random events seem indeed pretty random :) but they are fun
 
(**) Know you got a lotta requests already, but I'd appreciate SSs of the levee, ziggurat, and vulture if you get a chance. :)

I think I'll have to say no to this one, or at least put it way at the back of the list. One, it'll take a while and two, it'll require me to be in another mod. Prehaps something smaller and more specific so I could jump to it and do it?

Whoa! I think people have been understating things with the smoothness. It almost feels as if they have re-engineered the scrolling system or something. Also, when you are in WB and you switch it off so that the fog-of-war comes back, the map fades away slowly into blackness. Really cool.
