[BTS] The History of Three Kingdoms

The problem is the language.
If the text doesn't show up, it means, there is no text in your language.
Change the civ-language to english, this will solve the problem.

Or try a french translation ;).

Does this problem still exist? Please give me some more information as to game version, language, which scenario and what option you choose (play scenario or custom scenario, single player or multiplayer).

Woo! This is one of my most favorite mods, hands down. Thanks for updating it to 3.19. :)
 
Here's a little patch for Release 2.2: Patch A. Warning: it will BREAK save game!

1. AI: hero AI is improved 'dramatically', hopefully in the right direction!

2. Tweak: heros who currently serves his historical civ will be less likely to surrender

3. Tweak: when capturing the last city of a civilization and capturing enemy heroes at the same time, if our civilization is responsible for the captured heroes' death in history, then the captured heroes will die instead of surrender.

4. Tweak:If any member of a legion has carried out any kind of action, then during the same turn, that legion will not be able to perform form legion, regroup legion, join legion, dismiss legion or quit legion action.

5. Fix: in form legion screen, units' strength and movement will update along with player's input.

- Save(backup?) version: 302
- Compilation version : 3.1.9.0 (128100)
- build : finale release

My game is running french. But i often use other mods without translation : english text are displayed, I have never faced this inconvenient:
I tried "play solo", then "play a scenario". I could try HoTK 51 to 81, 196 to 200 AD (with cities) I always face the same trouble : Cannot join this game because "choosen game is already full".

The screenshots i took were made in a basic "play>pangea>defaults" settings.

I hope those information could help you to fix it.

The thing is, as soon as I switch my language to english, through the options, missing texts seems to be displayed and scenarios seems to be playable ^^

So my initial problem is quite minor as i'm finally able to test your mod (And i've to confess i'm very enthousiastic to try it ^^')

I think the music addon pack will work for the new version. Haven't tested it though.:)

There's no French text for this mod right now, because we removed all French to Italian language tag, so if you want to display English, the only way it to choose English as the language. Looking forward to your feedback!
 
I haven't played civ 4 for a while, and with the new official patch I came across the old mod and see you patched it. This was one of the mods that I played the most along with Rhye's. I never liked the WW ii scenarios much and your mod was one of the most enjoyable.

Good to be able to play it again.

Finally it's here, The Official Music Pack!

V1.0 features 56 soundtracks, 24 of them are background music, 32 of them are diplomacy music for leaders.

Part I, Part II

Instruction:
1. unzip Part I, copy the 'Assets' folder into your 'Beyond the Sword\Mods\The History of Three Kingdoms' folder.
2. when asked about whether to overwrite folders with same name, choose 'Yes'.
3. do the same with Part II.

This patch is about promotions. They are all more interesting now. This patch should be installed after official music pack. It will break save game.

Fix:

Archers now can bombard 2 plots away when gained Sharpshooter promotion
now all units will gain corresponding region promotions after 1st turn

Promotion Changes:

weakened hero unit combat promotions, at the same time remove hero level prerequisite to level up unit combat level

Persuasive: convert defeated enemy chance increased from 5% to 20%
Shock and Awe: terrifying attacking enemy chance increased from 25% to 50%
Encouragement: after defeating enemy core troop, our legion member strength modifier increased from 25% to 50%
Indominable: strength modifier against higher strength enemy increased from 25% to 50%
Scorched Earth: sprawl unit chance for destroying own town, village and hamlet increased from 100%, 50%, 25% to 100%, 80%, 50%
Tough: +50% strength now will take effect against enemy legion members and champions as well as core troop

Flying Wedge:strength bonus for every 1 point movement left when attacking increased from 20% to 30%
Discretion:-15% strength effect changed to -5% plain and grassland attack
Attack4:remove all effect except can attack multiple times per turn
Defence series:remove negative strength modifiers when attacking
Defence4:remove all effect except suffer -100% less collateral damage and defend against wave attack
Demagogue:destroy surrounding improvement chance increased from 50% to 90%
Nine Terrain:add amphibious effect
Iron Wall:won't lose hit point when hit by enemy chance increased from 20% to 40%
Heroic:convert enemy champion chance increased from 50% to 80%
Wild series: effect now include forest, jungle and swamp.
Stealth1:hill attack, forest attack, and jungle attack all increased to 50%
River Lord:add amphibious effect

Far Shot:bombard with crossbowman now can cause collateral damage
Sharpshooter:bombard damage doubled,archer bombard accuracy set to 100%
Guard:+50% strength when defending enemy core troop
Do-or-Die:both enemy and ourselves cannot withdrawal,when attack transform withdrawal chance to strength bonus
Fighting Withdrawal:now has 80% chance to launch free attack against withdrawing enemy
Quellingg, Suppressing:+25% versus all non-Revival players' unit
