Bug Report

  • Iron Working is not giving +1 food on not-irrigated farm in my game. Is this a bug? No sure about hte irrigated farm.
  • What Canal do? It say carry irrigation. But it doesn't spread irrigation like a chains of farm do. I am uncertain of this mechanic.

Was unable to reproduce by loading an autosave and progressing again. The save is from just after it happened.

I cannot confirm this. In my current game I've just research Iron Working and regular farm give me +5 on a 2F tile: Plains 1F + Wheat 1F + Farm 3F + Irrigation 1F + Iron Working 1F -> 7F on Substistance Economy

Other observations I've encountered:
* Is it intended I can't sacrifice population to hurry production with Slavery any more?
* As stated otherwise Theatre gives +1 happy on 5% culture rate, not 10% as shown in preview (culture slider moves in 5% steps)

That has to be same bug that I have.
 
I cannot confirm this. In my current game I've just research Iron Working and regular farm give me +5 on a 2F tile: Plains 1F + Wheat 1F + Farm 3F + Irrigation 1F + Iron Working 1F -> 7F on Substistance Economy
Irrigation Farm works just fine, but unirrigated farm don't work. A 1F1H plain no-slavery farm gives me 2F2H under slvary.
 
3.5 Release, minor text issue:
Greek Archer says it's the replacement for the early crossbow (it's not):

For some reason the game also offers me the option to build both these archers and the 4-strength bowmen from Iron Working, as well as shortswords and levies at the same time.

Reloading the game today my archers say they're supposed to be archers again. It must be something that happens when you unlock new units, maybe? Once the game thinks the archer is actually a replaced crossbow I can start a new game as Greece and still have it show up with the wrong description, I tested that yesterday.
 
Getting a graphical glitch where the model for the Greek Light Infantry becomes invisible save for the gun. The unit shows fine in the pedia.
Unpatched 3.5 release.

From that screenshot - I can't tell for sure, but feels like the purple line near the top isn't supposed to be there. Are you having some other visual glitches as well? What are your system specs?
 
Haven't noticed any other glitches, everything else is fine. The purple line on the ground between tiles is from a city planner cross (alt+x), colored purple (my civ color).

It's one of those hidden features that I saw somewhere once and thought was pretty neat, so I started using it. Just the other day I saw on a screenshot that somebody had the ruler name and the civ name displayed on the scoreboard - since finding the option for that I've been so much less confused about who wants me to stop trading with who:lol:

On Topic: Also not seeing the unit preview for Russian Rifle Infantry. Shows fine on map and in the pedia.
 
I've spotted Stonehenge gives 2 GP points even if it's disabled (Paganism not active). Maybe it's the same bug as Local Autonomy still giving -5 Separatism if inactive (has been removed in [r5280])?

Not hidden; it's just one of the BUG options, and BUG has been a part of RI since forever. And the unit preview thing should be fixed in Hotfix 2, so feel free to grab and apply it.

Nah, that's not a bug. Disabled (and obsolete IIRC) wonders still provide GP points. That's intentional.
 
Thx for 3.5! Having a blast so far. Got into one thing that might got messed up. I got +1 happiness/5% culture from theater. If it is intended the tooltip and civilopedia is wrong. Was 1happiness/10% culture in 3.4.

Now, I'm trying to create a scenario, but on World Builder I'm having this weird issue where I can't save the map. It goes throught the saving process but the savefile created is much smaller than usual (~40kb instead of several MBs) and it fails to load (game hangs on loading screen)

Anyone else experienced this? I couldn't find anything online, any help would be much appreciated
