I'm also getting consistent CTDs during autoplay for any civ that spawns later than Khmer (at least that I've tired so far), but obviously no saves to provide.
Starting as Roman on latest git commit.
I am unable to change civics on turn 0 due to already having a 5 turns cooldown.
Usually its free to change civivs on the first turn, thats why a 5 turns cooldown is extra bathersome.
Love the new map so far. Beaten the Roman UHV, Chinese UHV, and Pagan URV. Only bugs I've seen are below.
The Horses are unimprovable.
I belive this needs to replace the rainforest section of BUILD_PASTURE_DEFORESTATION in CIV4BuildInfos to make it work.
<FeatureStruct>
<FeatureType>FEATURE_RAINFOREST</FeatureType>
<PrereqTech>TECH_ALLOYS</PrereqTech>
<iTime>600</iTime>
<iProduction>0</iProduction>
<bRemove>0</bRemove>
</FeatureStruct>
The jungle tile is unimprovable since its a jungle tile. I imagine it is meant to be a rainforest.
I got conquerors for Mayans and the Toltecs at the same time around 900 AD. I think you should get just 1 lot of conqueres for mesoamerica regardless of how many civilizations there are. I imagine I shouldn't be able to get conquerors that early anyway though, like with the aztecs and incas you can't get conquerors on them till 1300AD or something.
The save crashes when you click next turn. I've finished the game so its just so you can fix it for other people . I have disabled stability for the human player but that shouldn't cause the crash. But you may not want to bother looking at it.

Qin Shi Huang AD-1656 Turn 1036.CivBeyondSwordSave
May not be intentional but upon loading 3000BC Byzantine start and making one turn, Great Schism occurs and converts all Byzantine cities - and even Nubian, for some reason in this save - to Catholicism
There are several plantation resources in South America that cannot have slave plantations created on them. I've left slave units on top of these resources in these two saves.
-the dye by Trujillo
-the tobacco by Caracas
-the tobacco between Montevideo and Porto Alegre
-the tea between Porto Alegre and Asuncion
-the sugar north of Goiana
-the coffee north of Goiana
I'm not sure if this issue persists with any others for additional resources spawns in 1800/1850/1900. Not that anyone should be running colonialism that late in the game, but...
Additionally, the cocoa graphic disappears when a slave plantation is placed on it.
