Bug Reports and Technical Issues

This being my first post, first of all I have to express my huge appreciation and gratitude for your work, as you turned a pretty good game into a ridiculously awesome one. (No w:bowdown:rshipping at all...)

However, as nobody else seems to have encountered this (minor) problem (not actually a bug), I have to address it myself. Though Harappa, Polynesia and Canada are included in the flip zone map, the respective stability maps for those new civs are missing in the maps folder. Would be easy to fix on my own if i had found any possibility to download them seperately, but I have not, obviously.

Thanks for playing!

And you're right, apparently these maps are missing. That's odd, I'm sure to have created at least the Polynesian map. Will look into it.

Regarding the missing CvEvent whatever thingy upon trying to save, it appears this is occurring suspiciously often upon Carthage losing a city.

I asked why the mod has so long load times before and you answered
Spoiler :
"To allow me to easily change stuff at all times, the graphics files for the mod are stored in their raw format. For the packaged released, theses files are compressed into Firaxis' FPK archive format, which not only cuts down on size, but also reduces load times significantly (not that this only affects the start time of the mod, not turn times while playing). "

However I just installed the mod release version and its taking... forever literally, the process does not even appear on task manager. I searched some posts and found the 64 bit for DC and installed it and still taking forever.

The first install was with all modules and then I tried reinstalling without any modules. Same result.

I think it is only the first start that takes very long. However if there is not even a process in your task manager you seem to have problems unrelated to the game.

There is a process... but it closes after a short time.

That's not a good sign, can you allocate a higher priority to it before it terminates?

It only happens with this mod. Not any other game.
I allocated higher priority, the process still dissappeared by itself.

I'm using windows 10 64 bits, and also tried to run it as administrator, brand new pc. Done some search and seems this only happens to me.

Given how specific this issue seems to be I am also without ideas.

I don't have GIT function so I'll just unload this here.

As promised in the General Discussion thread: my edited Sevopedia entry which outlines in specific detail how each civic combination affects your stability.

Spoiler :
Whoops, .xml files can't be uploaded, so I'll give you a .txt file instead if that's ok?
Forgot to answer: *.txt is fine, I have made a note and will integrate this when I have the time.

Solved it by installing patch 3.19
And actually it started instantly.

Maybe it's a bug, Brazilian sugars don't count as oil for Oil Industry.

Great!

Have you checked if they actually do not count? It could be just the interface not accounting for the UP.

I have noticed it, when I haven't got oil well developed, the gold per turn is the same between the turn before and after Oil Industry expanded into my city.

Sadly I don't have screenshot or autosaves. But you can get my final save from the Great UHVs thread.

it's said in another thread that independents doesn't count as foreign powers but in my Thai game I couldn't get a historical victory because of some kind of bug related to this issue. I attached a save from year 1898.

I can confirm that the tooltip at least triggers false when the only civs with cities in South Asia are me (Thailand), Indonesia, and independents.

After the last update Sweden shows as TXT_.... in 1700 scenario.

Same is true about Britain at the birth of America.

Will look into these.

Can you recall what exactly the text keys were?

It seems despite my intentions I forgot to account for independents in the code for that goal, it's fixed now.
