A little bug Austria (returned holy rome) As the picture shows they accept any city in trade regardless of it being suitable to their historical regions or other reasons.

It scales with gamespeed.

You can check the amount of turns to the next congress in the WB -> gameoptions. Can you check what that value is?

It is at -1 Odd number. This number is same as when you never had a congress, like a medieval save.

Will they actually accept the trade if offered?

Who has graphical issues with the English Man-of-War UU? I can't reproduce it. It would be useful to have screenshots or saves to make sure. Maybe it depends on the settings.

Maybe it happens when animations/effects are turned off. I've noticed weird graphical bugs on those settings, like units randomly turning pink, ships getting REALLY big, and unit graphics are replaced with something else (e.g. Songhai Fararis turning into Tibetan Khampas)

I get with animations turned off that units revert to their original, like the typical warrior shows up etc.

after the new update, In world builder it still shows as -1 the congresses, even with a new 1700 game, it shows -1. I'm not sure what it suppose to be like though.

Maybe the Palace of Nations itself does a bigger negative? making it a minus?

That's why I'm asking. Highest graphics settings are basically assumed by DoC.

Strange, I'll check again.

You just don't need to turn on Freeze animations, that ruins it mostly, I play at Medium and got no issues at all.

For the congress, I'll check from 600AD with the French 750AD and... it Shows congress turns -1

Issue is the congresses do appear at a certain time, or tech level? However building the Palace of Nations they stop in my case.

Congress turns should start at 8 now. When they are enabled is unrelated to this.

Hi, a few weeks ago I changed my hard disk for an SSD and therefore I had to reinstall everything. The thing is now civilizations stability seems broken, it is always at 0-shaky. Everything at 0. All civilizations.

I'm using last github version. In case it's relevant, I first installed Beyond the Sword directly on Steam, I think there's Civilization IV Complete. Just in case I installed vanilla and Warlords and uninstalled Beyond the Sword and reinstalled it... nothing changed. I also tried with Doc 1.15 (is it that one that has a DoC installer? well, that one)... with the same result. So I have no clue about what's going on.

Any thoughts?

Take a look at the first post in this thread. There's instructions about how to set up Steam for DoC. If that doesn't help, please enable Python exceptions as described there as well.

I tried to do everything it says. Original version doesn't fix my problem. Anyway, it's strange because i used to had the steam version issue with other mods like Realism Invictus, but not with this.

This is PythonErr2 file:

Too much for my understanding...

PS: There's no "PythonErr.log", only PythronErr2. I say it in case it's relevant somehow. This is a subject that I really don't know anything about.

You are starting as admin I assume and the latest patch.

Yes, as far as I know, which that isn't much but there's only one account on my PC. Just in case I just executed it as administrator... the same result. I guess it's important my PC just been formatted a few weeks ago like I said, and being an old game, it may be missing something to install.

The latest patch... if you refer about the game, I tried with latest patch at steam, and the original final release. As for the mod, I downloaded it yesterday from github. In fact, I downloaded it four times included Doc Installer in the last week until I gave up and came to ask for help, no difference.

But I may not be understanding what you mean.

PS: the old hard drive is still installed in a secondary unit, could it be interfering? As far as I know, it has no other role than to keep what I had there and I've even manually erased the games that were there to make room, but I mention it just in case. I have not formatted or reinstalled Windows etc. myself, but I'm pretty sure that whoever did it knew what he was doing. Of course I guess you never know everything with these things, even more speaking about a game so old... this is the only game that has given me these problems so far.

If you followed the guides for Python exceptions and logging correctly, you should see Python errors on launch and a populated PythonErr.log. I can guarantee that your issues come from some Python error. Please check if you followed all instructions.

I am pretty sure I've done what you asked. This is what i have in my logs folder right now:

Original Rhyes and Fall stability works fine, by the way. I just checked it.

PS: Indeed I brought the wrong PythonErr2 before, I just realized. It was from vanilla CIV IV. This is the one from beyond the sword. Is it strange that it's loading python files from Civ Warlords? PythonErr exists but it's empty, like image shows.

Settings are okay, but your issues definitely come from a Python error. Maybe you have deeper problems with your installation, it's worth trying to reinstall DoC.
