Bug Reports and Technical Issues

By the way, I wasn't able to reproduce issues with accepting the Ottoman flip and still seeing unit flips after declaring on them later. If you play as a civ that encounters the Ottoman spawn please make sure to keep a save from before the initial spawn decision and report in case the unit flips persist later into the game.

Will do, if I ever play as Byzantium, Rome, Greece (Which I wonder can the Turks claim by new spawn cities from Core holders like Greece/Byzantum? Can anyone do this? Cause as a player I know couldn't get Constantinople, not even if for example Holy Rome owns it, with a war.

There is something strange going on with the Moors. Sometimes you start in 710 AD, and other times in 720 AD. What's up with that?

The trade of slave units to Congo is not working. Also, Portugal begins with Tradicionalism instead of Slavery or Manorialism.

You were referring to the strategy texts, right? Because the Stock Exchange did not actually increase the GP rate.

You're right. As I'm now going over the building texts, I can fix this in the progress.

EDIT: I see you did it yourself already.

That's just how the spawning code works, I'll make sure this doesn't happen during the rewrite.

Can you upload the save where the trade does not work?

The Mexican Charreada Arena provides happiness from Hit Football Events. The Arena (which it replaces) used to do that to, but that bonus has moved to the Stadium. I think it should be removed from the Mexican Charreada Arena too.
(This also applies to the Mayan Ball Court, although I think it is quite fitting for that building, even though the Mayans will hardly ever make use of it because they are long gone before they can get access to that resource)

Can someone explain why I get two names of the Norse/Viking civilizations in my game?
  • Sweden shows up in the HUD list and the F4 screen
  • Norway is in the Catholic Members tab
  • Sweden is the worst enemy of the Netherlands; but the Netherlands have Norway as their worst enemy
Okay, I get that both of them are the same civ with different labels, but then I got this screen here, where I can send the Inquisition to Norway OR excommunicate Sweden:
Spoiler make up your mind! :

I am playing the 1.16 development, downloaded on May 4. If it makes anything different: HRE 3000BC start, Emperor diff.

(By the way: Computer-played Byzantine Empire, alive and stable in the 17th century! Dominating Tech leader for centuries, although England is currently sprinting away)
I am looking forward to play Prussia.

Yeah. I didn't care about that part. They said they couldn't sell their slaves. I was explaining why.
Sorry for that. My intention was to describe that in the 1700 A.D map, Portugal begins with the Traditionalism civic instead of others more historically accurate for the period, like Slavery or Manorialism. The French image was uploaded by mistake.

Also, Portugal begins with Tradicionalism instead of Slavery or Manorialism.
I checked and that's not true for any scenario. Portugal starts with Individualism in 1700 AD.

Sorry to ask again, but from which version are you reporting this? I recently fixed some issues with slave trade requirements.

I dont know if this is still true but there was a bug that when Arabia didnt settle its first city (Mecca) before the flip, the Islamic Holy City would never be created.
(I am unable to play DoC until this weekend so I cant recreate this situation till then)

The save that I posted was from an update before the current one. But I updated recently and tested both with Congo and Portugal in 1700 AD and only Portugal (like any civilization with Colonization and Slavery civics) can access the slave trade. The only exception is Congo, that cannot sell its Slave units when is controled by a human player (they don't appear in the trade window). As for the bug with Portugal Traditionalism civic, I have made tests with Portugal and Congo and is correct: they begin with Individualism, but when the turn is finished they swap to Traditionalism because Portugal didn't have reserched Civil Liberties. When playing with Congo I have seen Portugal with Traditionalism because they have a high score than me, which means they end turn before I begin to play. I attached some images to prove it.

That makes sense. What update are you on exactly?

But that's not where the save is from. I can't open it without knowing the version.
