Bug Reports and Technical Issues

Your unit issues are caused by setting the unit quality setting to low - please use high, there is no reason not to on even remotely modern computers and graphics have no bearing on game performance. This setting exists for GPUs that were old even when the game originally released.

I cannot tell you anything about the version error. I have never seen it before and I don't think it is caused by the mod.
 
Do you still have a pre 800 AD save?

Edit: are you on the latest version? I fixed this recently and it's not reproducible on my end.
Unfortunately, I was not saving. I did check and I was ot on the latest version but on the version ending in .8 if that means anything. Sorry I don't have a save; I'll try to be more fastidious in my saving from now on.
 
Yeah that's a bit outdated now, it should be fixed if you update.
 
Very minor issue - current installer says version 1.16 instead of 1.17.

Works for me. Please make sure your language is set to English.
 
Bumin is missing part of his head. (Everyone else looks normal).

Are you on high graphics settings already? If not yet, try setting it to high.
 
I tried setting it to high in the advanced options and he is still missing part of his head.

I'm getting about 15 Python exceptions regarding bugs or something every time I load a save or start a new game. It began happening only after I installed DoC on the Steam version.

Are you using the old version of the game via steams beta tab? If not try that I don't know if RFC needs it but other mods break on the Steamworks version. I'm using the github version with no problems via steam myself see no reason why the download would be different.

I'm not sure whether it's a bug or not but either way the Arabs turned out to be so powerful that they invaded and vassalized the Turks preventing the Seljuk expansion event from taking place. Does it mean that the Ottomans wouldn't be able to emerge in this save because of it?

In WorldBuilder it seems like that the Turks do have a large stack of units in Otrar but they cannot use it against Arabs as they were vassalized by them.
