Yeah, right now installing with "one-click" installer is more of a hassle than doing it manually.

Iamblichos: I am using the full CPP from the installer, with no EUI, so it includes more luxuries. Do you think that's what's causing it, and that checking the debug file could fix it?

No I meant using a mod that added resources beyond what the CBP uses which includes More Luxuries. That shouldn't be an issue. But I would check the Resources Table in the database anyways. Other than that, I would just send Gazebo your mini dump file and see what he says.

CTDs reported since 9/24 update:

I've checked your minidump files, and all call back to a lua crash. I can't trace it beyond that, but it does mean that the crashes are not in the DLL specifically. I also ran a test game myself (pausing and trying out deals, etc.) and no crashes from beginning to end.

Mini-dump from my Washington diplo CTD for good measure... though it's probably LUA as well.

EDIT: 9/27 version by the way.

UPDATE: Validating files revealed 7 invalidated. Testing to see if any difference... and no.

Make sure it is in your DLC folder, unzipped, and also that you are running the latest civ version.

G

EUI is of course unzipped and in DLC folder. The version is 279 and I can add that mod (with EUI) works just fine on older 144 version which I had installed to check it.

Did it leave behind a minidump file? The crash dump file is not what I need - if you look, the date on that is April.

It did not. So here are logs instead. I'll just keep sending stuff until I get something right. :mischief:

You've got a ton of errors related (probably) to Krajzen's GPP and/or another mod that adds a new unitcombat type (unitcombat_mounted_archer). That many errors = SQL/XML/LUA crash. Sorry I can't be more help.

BUG REPORT: I was playing on a late August version of CPP, CBP, CSD, C4D combo as Morocco and noticed that my bonuses for having trade routes did not seem to be scaling as the description indicates they should (at least not up to the Medieval age). Seems like that's a bug. Also, it looked as though I was not getting Golden Age points for trade routes (though I can't be sure since it doesn't seem like there's a way to see your Golden Age points per turn breakdown).

I am also wondering what the point of having other civs' trade routes to your empire generating extra gold for them. There did not seem to be a benefit to me to have other civs setting up trade routes with me that I could see- my gold breakdown for example didn't show any extra gold from others trading with me.

Sorry if this has been fixed since the version I was using. Thanks for the mod, overall it looks to be extremely ambitious and promising.

That was a bug, yep but it was fixed a few versions back.

The AI is more likely to choose a TR target if it makes them more gold.

Looks like you are missing some DLC.

I'll take a look at the minidump files, everyone.

G

Thanks. I checked Steam, and the only DLC I don't have are the map packs: explorers, cradle, and scrambled.

I also realized that in the advanced setup I'm not seeing the new options like 'no vassalage' and 'no tech trading.'

I did try deleting everything and reinstalling the game and community patch project, but I still have these issues.

Thank you for letting me know.

Why should we care if the AI chooses the player for trade routes? We don't seem to profit off of it, or am I mistaken?

I got another CTD again. I haven't been able to make it past the medieval era or past turn 175 in 3 separate games as different civs (Ethiopia, China, Greece in this one). All that happened is during and AI turn the game just suddenly went to desktop, no error message or anything. I have the minidump file this time, I hope it helps, because I'd really like to be able to play this MOD but right now its unplayable for me.
