sorry, posted this in another thread before I saw the bug thread. so here it is

i'm having trouble with this one, it was working okay a couple days ago except for the fact that I couldn't see any luxuries. Today I tried to reinstall, went ahead and downloaded the newest version since it was available anyways, and now when I go into the Mods menu ingame, it says that my version of the game isn't compatible with the community patch, which of course means I can't activate any of the other mods. Strangely enough, the More Luxuries mod will activate just fine, but none of the others.

Delete Civ5ModsDatabase in your cache folder.
 
Hey, sorry but I am a bit new to this. My issues are:

I dont have a cache folder
I dont have a mods folder
I am missing required dependencies apparently (Visible by mousing over the tick icon in the mods menu)

Does anyone have any advice? Thanks!

Are you looking for the folders in the right place?
The standard path if you're using Steam is C:\Users\[YourUsername]\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\. There is also a civ5 folder in 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\sid meier's civilization v', but that one isn't for mods :D. Yes it is quite confusing.

If you're checking the right folder and still don't have a mods folder, try using steam to download any mod and it should create a mod folder.
 
Not exactly bugs, but at least weirdities that you should check up on.
You can't swap unit locations anymore, normally you're able to move a unit on top of another unit and they switch places assuming they have enough movement left, but that doesn't work anymore.
Second, the construct manufactory improvement ability for the Great engineer uses 'M' as a hotkey, but since that's the key used for movement it doesn't work :D

I did that and found those folders, so I deleted the cache. But I still have my mods saying missing required dependencies :(
 
I managed to fix the dependencies issue. However now when I start I can't select my city or even see the option to select it. So I can't even select the production after I settle. Anyone have this before?

You have to tell us what how you set up the game, we cannot help you if we do not know the situation ��

First of all, I assume you have downloaded and run the automatic install for CP+CBP? Is it the EUI version? How did you activate the mods and in which order? Did you activate Cp, CBP, Csd, Civ4f and then the compatibility mod? Did you clear the cache and ModUserData folders before activating the mods?
 
I reinstalled Civ 5 to try this mod, and I installed it using the installer (with EUI). I activated the mods and started a new game and all the mods appeared to run smoothly. However, when I saved the game and tried to load it, I get a runtime error message and Civ 5 crashes. The message states, "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way". I tried starting a new game without any mods and was able to save and load it back again without any problems.

Had the same problem once, because I didn't delete the LUA files while using EUI.

Did you delete them? See the post How To Install.
 
Any chance we could get a hotfix for the unit swap bug? Having archers exposed with no way to fall back behind melee is... less than optimal.
 
I'm still experiencing the issue that changes to happiness through diplomatic trades won't be reflected during the same turn.

So when your happiness is at 10 and you acquire a new luxury ressource through trading, the counter for happiness won't go up to 14 before the next turn.
This only happens with trading, changes through buying happiness buildings are reflected immediately (hm, not sure about social policies now that I think of it..).

I don't use any mods that alter the TopPanel.lua or diplomacy in any way (so no C4DF and such at the moment, so I can exclude other mods to be the reason), and only use the CP(9-18).

Regarding the top panel not refreshing, I've fixed that for the upcoming version (noticed it too!).

If you've got logging enabled, send me your diplomacyAI_war log. Also, if you can, indicate at what turn your trying and failing. That'll help me see what the AI wants, and why what it wants isn't meshing with what it can get.

Uhh enabled logging, there is no such file on my system, and this thread is the only mention that google brings up. ?
 
I am unable to alter the number of natural wonders via the civ5worlds.xml file. Does CBP override this in any way?

This file is not enabled by default. The WHoward's logging tutorial enables only the basic logs, such as database.log or lua.log, but not DiplomacyAI_War_Log or OperationalAI, etc.

I managed to enable these once, but I forgot how and I after I reinstalled the game some time ago, I am unable to re-enable them again.

I was unable to Google up anything useful before, so if anyone knows how to enable these, please let us know.
