Installed hotfix (Many thanks!) and shall see if it's fixed :)

3 "highlighted city"
I mean cells of different colors within city limits like when you move the cursor on the city. Maybe the unit selection conflicts with the city selection by EUI?
I use only files supplied with the patch (the full version with EUI). No other modes.

Ah, gotcha. Are you sure you're not accidentally hovering over the city banner at the same time with selecting a unit?

The hotfix doesn't concern your railroad problem, though. You know what - next time it happens again, mind posting a save here? The railroad problem has been a long-time recurrent and apparently very hard to reproduce bug.

Vassals as in through capitulation or a voluntary deal? I'm case of capitulation you need a very high warscore for it to happen which can be nearly impossible in the latest version (it's getting fixed, though).
 
Apologies in advance if this is a simple issue that has been dealt with in the past, I seem to be having a problem with the community patch whereby none of my work boats are able to improve resources. I'm unsure which logs I should post (if any), but I just wanted to know if others have this issue.

I am using the 18/12 version

Sad, bad my starting Warrior haven't double movement in Deserts :( But Ethiopia has nice starting bonuses (Warrior and Scout with 3 movement points, and the second unit has Scouting I promotion also, or both, if I remember correctly)

So maybe describes are wrong?

You misunderstood a little - all the UA does is give you a free technology when you:
a) complete a policy branch;
b) adopt a belief (e.g., found a religion, enhance one, etc.);
c) choose an ideology.

So, the UA doesn't reward doing anything with an ideology - it rewards picking one with a free tech.
 
Ok, thank you, what about starting units' promotions? Ethiopia starts with Warrior and Scout that have 3 Movement Points and the Scout has also Scouting I promotion and it isn't mentioned about it anywhere. And I should have Double Movement in Deserts as playing Arabia, but the starting unit hasn't it.
 
Anybody noticed that starved cities don't reduce the workable plots? I plopped a city but without enough food and everytime it starved back down to one I noticed I could still work the second citizen that didn't exist? I have 18/12 with the hotfix, as well as JFD's Diversity and Soundtrack, Wonder Race, Quick Turns and Music Changer.
 
Got a CTD with 12-18 (hotfix) CP on AI turn.

I have had a different experience with capitulation. Have not seen a post about this situation.

I have been getting overpowered peace deals and trades with friendlies for a few weeks now, across several beta versions and now with the auto installer version.

Making a peace offer where you simply ask for every city the AI owns + capitulations, pretty much always works. I can easily conquer the the world in a single turn with peace deals or vassalization.

I have no idea why this is happening, but it really is breaking the game for me.

Attached is a save file where you can peacefully ask Indonesia to vassalize and trade all their cities.
Using 12-8 with EUI version

Yesterday the game crashed to desktop for me, Can i help u to post logs in someway?
i dont really know what log u want?

the Game felt a little erratic when i loaded it on the big computer, not smoth
as it should be (duel map)

i started to play on the laptop with no problem (ofcourse slower)
i loaded the game on desktop with the same mods (hugely much better hardware)
played 10 min then crash (have win8 compatible mode on both computers)

hope i can help in someway?
 
Hi, I just installed the mods via the installer with EUI. I cleared catche&Moduserdata before.

The tooltip is showing coordinates + Plot Danger ???

 
It's correct. Used for debug until final version.

Okey, as Im no developer. Can I disable this? It really clutter the already big additional information on the tooltip. Maybe I have installed a developer version? :sad:

Hi!!

Yesterday the game crashed to desktop for me, Can i help u to post logs in someway?
i dont really know what log u want?

the Game felt a little erratic when i loaded it on the big computer, not smoth
as it should be (duel map)

i started to play on the laptop with no problem (ofcourse slower)
i loaded the game on desktop with the same mods (hugely much better hardware)
played 10 min then crash (have win8 compatible mode on both computers)

hope i can help in someway?

What's your modlist? Make sure you have logging enabled (if not, there's a tutorial on the internet) and post Lua.log and CvMiniDump.dmp
 
Ah, gotcha. Are you sure you're not accidentally hovering over the city banner at the same time with selecting a unit?

The hotfix doesn't concern your railroad problem, though. You know what - next time it happens again, mind posting a save here? The railroad problem has been a long-time recurrent and apparently very hard to reproduce bug.

1.
As for "hovering" - ye, happens... moving the mouse to a unit usually don't pay attention to the background.

2.
It seems the "hotfix" solved the "pathfinding" & "embarkment" issues.
Movement on the railroads now is 3 cells for unit's movement point compared to 2 for 1 on usual roads. So seems to be ok as well at least for now. Shall post if "the railroad problem" surfaces again.
