I am using the 3/19 Community Patch, CBP 3/19, and added components. The game crashes at the loading screen after I set the game up. Even after disabling a bunch of extra mods and using the base one's it still does not work. I deleted the LUA files in both the CP and CBP folders. Attached are the logs that I cannot decipher. I have also repeatedly deleted the cache and moduserdata folders with no results.

Please enable logging in your config.ini file, and then try to restart the game. Right now your logs are blank, as logging isn't enabled.

Also, make sure you have the latest version of the game and all DLC/leader DLC.

Hi i just installed this mod just as directed on the install page. I only have the four the main mods and Barathor's more luxuries mod and the EUI CBP version installed in my dlc folder as directed plus the CBP Compatibility mod EUI version as well.

Now only select the five mods the ingame editor and Whoward's DLL various mod components the latest version that is all i select in the mods menu. I proceed to start up a random game and when the game finally loads up i select my settler and click on the building icon to found my first city my games crashes to desktop with no error message.

Now i deleted all files in the cache folder and the moduser data folder as well even went as far as to verify my game files and still get the crash. I am very perplexed by this. Any help would be appreciated thanks in advance.

Forgive me if I misunderstood your post, but do you have both the CP and whoward's DLL enabled? If so, that's your problem--only one DLL mod can be active at a time. Luckily whoward's DLL is incorporated into the CP so there's no need for the "various mod components" :D

Hi and yes i do have both mods on as it tells me if i don't select Whowards mod when i try to select CPP mod that it is missing dependencies but when i select whowards mod and try to select CPP it works. So seeing this i figured whowards mod was required for CPP to work properly. I'll try again without whowards mod and post the results here. Thanks...

Edit: Okay is it confirmed i cannot play CPP without Whowards mod selected just tried it.

So you're telling me that with no mods selected, the ingame mod manager won't let you activate the Community Patch (not balance patch)?

Yes that is correct.
 
Just tried it again and no luck. I wasn't aware that you needed whoward's mod in order to play CPP. But it seems like i need whowards mod apparently.

The opposite is true, using both together simply will not work. I know you've cleared your cache, but have you done so since your last attempt to use them together?

What you are describing is odd, it happens if you try to activate the Balance Patch without the CP already active but I can't imagine why it would happen for just the CP.

I'll try clearing the cache and try again. I'll be back in a sec.
 
Okay now things are getting weird here. I have a question when looking at my ingame mod manager screen the only mods that show up are as follows

CBP Balance patch 3/19
CBP Compatibility files 3/19
CSD for CBP 3/19
C4DF 3/19

But not CP 3/19 itself. Even though when i look in my mod folder all required mods are there including CP so it seems that CP is missing from my ingame mods manager screen is this right?
 
:)Alright i solved the issue. I got the mod to work what happened was that even though i cleared my cache and moduser data folder i had CCTP 4.06 still in my mods folder even though i didn't have this mod selected just having it in my mods folder caused CP itself not to show up in the ingame mod manager screen just the balance patch and the other mods. So i removed CCTP from my mods folder and everything worked. So lesson learned.

Thanks for all your help and patience. One last question before i go is this mod compatible with the YnAEMp and Y.A.G.E.M mods? thanks again.:)



Edit: Nevermind i overlooked the Compatibility thread for this mod don't know how i missed that (lol) i think i need more coffee:coffee:. Anyhow thank you joosegoose25 for all your help. Cheers.

For some reason, my units are starting to treating friendly/not-at-war units as enemies when it comes to being alert at them. I send my unit somewhere in the map, chaining moves, and whenever I hit "end turn", the "unit needs orders" thing will come up and I have to give it the command to move again, because they saw some other unit and thought it was an enemy.

This happening to anyone else?

I've had a few instances of workers needing to be reminded of their job at the end of every turn. I haven't paid too close attention to pick up a pattern, though.
 
So it seems like my CTD isn't from the Barbarians, when the turn to get the Quinquereme comes to the character I use (Vicevirtuoso's Gilgamesh.) the game crashes. I'll let Vicevirtuoso know as well.
 
I came across a bug with diplomacy that I've never come across before. I have no idea if this is a problem with the Community Patch or a bug with Civ V.

Using 3 mods - Community Patch, Community Balance Patch, and the Communitas map from the steam workshop - I was playing as Rome and had been friendly with Venice for the whole game, and declared Friends for about half of the game. Out of the blue, Venice says he doesn't want to be friends with me anymore. Wondering why, I went to the diplomacy screen, and apparently I asked Venice not to settle new cities near me - which I know I never did, Venice can only annex city states, why would I do that? Apparently I also asked Venice not to spy on me - which would have been impossible for me to do because everyone was still in the Medieval era and neither of us had spies yet.

I was playing as Japan and for some odd reason, I couldn't build the workshop. In any city. I had the right technology, but for some reason the workshop refused to come into existance, and didn't appear as a building option.

What is weird is I already played with another civ and this didn't happen.

(I'm playing the previous version by the way - but I don't see any bugfixes regarding this in the new one)

You had forges in all of your cities?
 
Do I need to now? The tooltips don't say anything about that.

Pretty sure a Forge is required to build a Workshop. I'm personally not a huge fan since the Forge is otherwise not worth building if you don't have its resources or need another Engineer slot.
