I had a similar issue, but I found that if I quit to windows, then started a new game from scratch, the problem seemed to magically vanish.

Aussie.

That was weird!

For now I resolved it by going back to 12.4.1/66.2. I did however merge most of the xml/sql changes from the newest update in as I guessed they weren't the cause. Anyway the problem didn't show itself this time - all other mods were left untouched.

I have trouble running CSD with CP and CBP (as well as E&D and some other mods). With previous version of CP it was breaking the game (misaligned UI, inability to choose production, no buildings in the capital - couldn't go to turn 2).

With the current version it seems to work, but on large islands city states take forever to make their moves - waiting for AI to finish turn takes over a minute. Small continents everything's fine. (this seems to be the problem reported above)

There also appears to be a conflict with JFD's Cultural Diversity mod, as the game crashes to desktop when both CulDiv and CP are being loaded. Separately they load just fine.

Game just crashed to desktop while loading CP, CBP, E&D, C4D, CSD.

What on earth?! I didn't even mess with that...well I'll sort it out. Somehow.
It seems to affect some games for me, but not others. Maybe one of the new traits is to blame... somehow? So maybe only games with a particular civ bug out like this.

If it helps, Gazebo, there does seem to be *some* kind of pattern in the appearance of Tourism. When I found a city (not necessarily the first), when I build a unit (again, not necessarily the first), when my population grows (again, not the first time necessarily), & when I get access to a new policy (again, though, not necessarily the first time). So in-game events do seem to trigger appearance of tourism, & it's not completely random.

I hope that helps you in your bug hunt :-).

Aussie.

Just to be clear, you are using the version of Health and Plague I posted on the install page, yes? It adds a yield (health) that clashed with tourism (they had the same ID #) so I had to change the yield in H&P. I've scoured the dll and that's the only possibility I can fathom at this point (especially since I haven't seen this reported by anyone else).

Hey gazebo! I really liked the previous game I played with v66.2 but the new game v66.3 cannot get past the "processing city states" phase to get to turn 2 of the game in both games I played.

To the best of my knowledge, the only version I have is the one I downloaded from your page.

When I get home tonight, I'll delete all versions of health & plague I currently have, & re-download the one from your page....& see if that works :).

Attached is my World Congress screen after adopting World Religion. Apparently it gives 40 extra votes, which seems erroneous.

This is with 66.2/12.4.1 and CSD 25.1

I experienced the same issue on that version with CSD active.

I get the same problem playing Polynesia on a standard size Archipelago map. I'm using
CP v66.3.1
CBP v12.5.1
CSD v25.1
Events and Decisions v1

If I set the number of city states to 0 in the advanced settings then the game moves on to the next turn without any delay.

Indeed. I saw this once quite some time ago, but apparently is has resurfaced somehow. I'll get on this once I have time. Same regarding the other issue, which I'm having a hard time replicating.

I don't think the Piety policy Organized Religion is working properly. It doesn't give the +1 Faith to shrines and temples and I could not find the yield change in the Piety.xml file either (latest hotfix version).

Oh dear, a new bug....a Pantheon & Religion being founded in the same turn-only 4 turns into the game .

It's linked to the massive generation of Great persons, imo. The bug is still there, just fixed for city states ^^

OK, not sure what just happened there, but in my current game I went from having 23 turns until I got a new tech (Calendar) then, upon founding my City (York) I suddenly found I had the tech. Has anybody else seen this?

I've decided to press on & play the game, regardless.

I've got the solution. I simply forgot to add the new variable for Dido's ability to the kstream for trait classes. There are two variables in the trait classes file, one of which goes to the kstream and one that doesn't. If you don't put the one that needs it into the kstream, there is a potential for corruption and/or a data shift that will do wonky things (like infinite GP spam). I'll test my fix shortly, and then post it. I'm also going to try and fix the bug with religion votes.

Tks Gazebo, fast as usual !

Talking about votes, and without talking about this religion bug, during my last game I had the impression that political victory was easier than before. The bonus prodived by religion is so high (after the vote for a majority religion) that I saw a AI winning with only 1 city state in its pocket, and this before anybody had half a spaceship.

I don't know if it's a exception, but considering the AI are not voting against a majority religion as much as they used to, it may be problem.

That's more of a CSD issue (as CSD added the change), but since I manage both, I guess this is as good of a place as any to discuss it. I probably need to inflate the amount of votes needed to win a diplo victory slightly, especially since the science victory was pushed back (all parts at end of tech tree now). We'll see.
