No, I don't. Do I need all the DLCs in order for CBP to work?

At least leaders, yes. If you don't have them, you'll have to delete references to items from those dlcs, unfortunately.

I have a question and didn't know where to post it. What is the max number of civs in the game the DLL mod can support? Is it 22 or can I go all the way up to 42?

Also is the Extended Eras mod (which adds the Historic game speed) compatible with CBP?

Compatibility with whoward's 42 civ mod is untested. It may work, but no guarantees. Not sure about EE. Might make a new post (this one is for bugs).

Isn't this problematic? We're already demanding people to have both expansions to use this patch, isn't requesting them to have some modding knowledge to be able to use this properly if they haven't bought all DLC leaders kind of an issue?

I have no idea to delete those references by the way, so I'm a good example of the kind of general public that will face this once it's released.

EDIT: Bah, I ended up buying the leaders I'm missing. But my point still stands, though.

The mod has, on the 'how to install' page, a large banner that states that the mod requires all leader DLC and both expansions. At this point in Civ 5's lifespan, I don't think that's asking too much.

I don't think it's a matter of lifespan (hell I bet a couple of people in this very site only have normal, expansion-less Civ 5), just a matter of money.

I will concede the point on the fact that a lot of people who would be interested in this will probably have already exhausted everything Civ 5 has to offer, which would include expansions and most leaders. But I still think the preferable path would be non-DLC dependance.

Being a legendary cheapskate I'm the last person to typically comment on this, but I see the Complete Edition on sale somewhere or another for about $12 every other week or so. I understand sometimes any money is too much but at this point in the game's lifespan we're talking about less than the average person here spent on vanilla Civ 5.

I was going to compare it to how just about any mod for Skyrim requires all the goodies, except Skyrim is (believe it or not) over a year younger than Civ 5 even. Not to mention 2k/Firaxis are much more generous with DLC sales than Bethesda :)

Ideally, sure, but there are features in the dlc that are now baked into the CBP. This was inevitable.

Please stop pestering Gazebo with all of this "I don't have all DLC" talk. It is required for the mod and it clearly states so.

Remember that We're getting all of this (the mod) for free, courtesy of Gazebos and his fantastic work!

Been getting constant crashes on the newest 3/14 version. They don't always occur at the same time, but always happens on turn 34 at the latest. I am only using CP, CBP, Ingame Editor and YAEMP (all mods that shouldn't be conflicting) in their later versions.

Database.log says something about Landmarks?

Any clue on what might causing this?

Yep, I've tried cleared the Cache, re-downloading the mod and verifying integrity of game cache. Even tried re-installing the game for good measure. CP really doesn't like me for some reason.

make sure you have the latest version of the mod, and all leader DLC/expansions.
G

Yeah it still crashes without YAEMP, so its probably something within CP/CBP itself...

And did the previous versions of the mod work for you? Or are you new to the mod and started playing with the 3/14 version?

If you load the game from an autosave after the crash, does it crash again at the same turn or are the crashes "random"?

Edit: One more question - do you have the latest version of the game: 1.0.3.279? I guess you do, if you re-installed it, as you wrote in the previous post, but better make sure ...

The game started randomly crashing after the 3/6 version (there was a few crashes with 2/15, but those were mostly from settler behavior which has already been fixed).

Also, the game has always insta-crashed every time I try to load a modded save with CP/CBP ever since the first version for me. I thought that was normal? And I do have the newest version of base CiV.

Edit: Does CP/CBP increase the processing power required? I'm starting to suspect some kind of memory leak on my side because CP/CBP is too much for my rig to handle (doubtful as I have a pretty powerful laptop, but you never know)

How much ram do you have? The CP's memory footprint is higher by virtue of it adding more stuff to Civ. Loads/saves should work with the CP/CBP - if they aren't for you, I fear it may be a bug on your end, hardware or otherwise.

I'm running 12GB DDR3 RAM with a i7-4700HQ CPU at 2.40GHz. That why I'm so puzzled; my hardware should be enough to run the game without issues.

Going to run my computer through Malwarebytes again to see if there's anything fishy going on. Thanks for the help!
