About the ranged unit for every policy I pick after Conscription, I am using these mods here:

Maybe it had to do with me getting conscription before I had researched the tech that gives you Archers? When I initially picked it up, a warrior appeared next to my capital.

That's fine (the fallback for that ability is a defense AI unit if you lack a ranged unit). I'll take a look at the code, make sure it isn't sneaking something bad in.

EUI tooltips for UBs don't seem to work in the 6-27 version.

Thanks, I know why. It is only in the menu, not the actual game (that call was looking for 'city,' but city is undefined in the civliopedia/loading screen.

Updated EUI for CBP, pushed it to dropbox (savegame compatible).

A few bugs from the 6-17 version. Not sure if they've been fixed in subsequent versions because I had an awesome game going and I wanted to finish it before updating.

Typo in AI fear text (missing an "I").

City Govs / AI really bad about managing happiness with specialist selection

Wrong denouncement text shown when ideology hate. I went Freedom; AI went Order. AI disliked and denounced me as a result. Explanation text said I was a bad guy for going Order, when it should have said I was a bad guy for going Freedom.

Fixed for next version. Will be savegame compatible (is essentially a hotfix).

Same mods, different game. Got Trapping first, but still get units each time I adopt a policy.

I'm having issues with Conscription as well...except for me, I receive nothing at all when taking the policy. I haven't researched Trapping yet, and don't have any extra mods active.

Unless the hotfix is coming soon, any chance you could share the specialist management fix? :) That one sounds like kind of a big deal.

There's nothing wrong with specialists. They prioritize food at smaller sizes for cities. I'll adjust it a little in the next version, but people are blowing this one out of proportion.

The overall governor management is improved in my opinion. But yes, they should weigh specialists a tad more than they do now. The governor is working 3-food coastal tiles on my size 18 city with a 26 food surplus instead of that juicy scientist slot.

So I'm new here, only ever used mods from steam workshop before.
Anyways, here's the problem: CTD when trying to start from era other than ancient. (confirmed CTD from medieval and classical). The game will load, but will CTD during next turn. This was with CP, CBP, CSD, C4DF which I downloaded earlier today.
Went back and tried it with mods off, game is fine. Tried loading only the CP (put the LUA folder back in), and CTD again.
I attached my logs, I'm not sure what they mean but there's some different stuff in the second one.

Apologies, I think I misunderstood your response to ecgopher's post.

There appears to be a bug with the "Establish the Satrapies" decision for Persia.

I've taken the decision however it is not giving the +2 happiness for each Satrap's Court as advertised.

Edit: It seems the decision still gives the +2 happiness bonus but to the bank instead. I believe the Satrap's Court previously replaced the bank before being changed. Can the happiness to the Satrap's Court as advertised please be corrected in a future update?

It along with a bunch of other decisions are broken. We are to compile a list of all the broken ones and if we do that our lord and savior Gazebo have promised to maybe fix them all at once. But the E&D mod is not his work and because of that it is not really his responsibility

By the way, Gazebo, the Danish UB, does not provide the production on sea resources that a normal lighthouse provides.

Never promised that. Someone else needs to do it.

I'll look at jelling stones, though.

It's a cool mod but I think it needs a serious rework for CBP, not just some technical fixes.

Precisely why I'm not interested in working on it. Too much work on a mod I didn't create. It is fairly plain-language, but that doesn't change the fact that it isn't mine, and I just don't have the energy to do it.
