Bug Reports

First off great mod :goodjob: been having a lot of fun with it.

Been playing v193 for a while and just downloaded v195.

Tried a few late age civs, non of them could get past turn 50 when waiting to start. For example choose Arabia, starts with 153 turns of waiting, at 103 it stops progressing and I'm forced to kill CIV.

Any ideas?

This happened while playing Babylonians, on the current RFCW version (1.45):
WeirdRebellion1.JPG

The message popped up means "A babylonian rebellion took place in Sur", after it joined me. I guess the game is misunderstanding my culture and independent one, as this picture shows:
WeirdRebellion2.JPG

As you see, I have a 12% and indies have 87%, so there's a 6'88% chance of independent rebellion, not mine. The city's already mine!

Here is the save when the rebellion happened for the first time, but I have checked that this keeps in time ad eternum (there were at least 4 or 5 "babylonian rebellions" until I got tired and quited).

This is "normal", it has happened to me a few times. As I understand it, the city cannot flip away to independents from you, (if it did, it would be automatically given back to your control), so it gives this message... ;)

afaik...

What strange... Must be the warrior heading to Sur, probably was enough to quell the rebells? . Anyway, I think I haven't any more saves, because I've strated another game, but I'll look. However, in this game, I've seen Sur revolting again (now to the persians, after the babilonians, for a lot of time -can't tell how much-, until it flipped to Arabia (or was conquered by Arabia, I don't know -I'm playing with Greeks-).

I've been getting something like this. Any civ I try, every 40 turns or so I end my turn and I get stuck at that "Waiting for other civilizations" message.

As expected, I have no saves. Sorry. :(

Another new bug (for me, at least), now as Greece:
WeirdPlague.JPG

I got the icon of plague, but, if you look at my cities... no one has the plague! And no message of "the plague has spread into (any of my cities)" was shown. Here's the save (this time I have previous saves, if needed):

In the 1.95 version it seems that concept of plague has dissappeared... it is Renaissance age already and the plague did hit nobody... Is it just for me? Has anyone else noticed this?

If it is just my computer, I'll just use Plague.py file from the 1.93 version... If not, I'll upload a save of my game.

I don't know the specifics of your game but maybe you're just being lucky.
I once had a game as France where a few plagues hit the far east and because Japan, China and Mongolia were all running mercantilism, the plague wiped itself out before it could find its way to Europe.

v145:

I play with France, and the Vikings happen to "get into contact" for many times (when a unit comes into view),
not just once at the first time...

that's not a bug, that's a feature. You will loose contact with some civs you cannot "see" directly (via a unit, religion, cities, etc. ...). You can build an embassy with Paper to prevent this. This was introduced in order to reduce time it takes to play and secondary to make for example Sino-Roman relations more realistic.
