how hard is it to program in sql? My understanding of SQL is that it is a db system like Access....

Any good (free) SQL programming systems out there?

SQLite for Firefox. SQL is far nicer and easier than xml.

They probably beelined Iron Working. I am currently playing a game where Isabella did not have Writing even into the Renaissance. Things like this need definitely to be resolved.

I thought in 3F and above you have to complete all of one era before moving onto another..... or is that only in extended?

Iron Working probably brought them INTO the classical era, but they couldn't research any Classical techs beyond that. That is what appears to be happening in my v3b game.

That is indeed only with extended(which is system heavy with the 100 or so prereq techs).

Yeah that hapens on occasion, depends what Civ's you get and wonders they build.

Playing extended game on latest patch. Game still does not require you to finish ALL the techs in an era before moving on. I will go to the next era and select the starting tech. When I reach that era, there are a few (most I have seen are 3) techs left unresearched. These are always dead end techs. Techs that do not lead to another tech.

Still this is much better than the game used to be. Cuddos to fixing this.

Those techs are more than likel missing a Prereq Tech from another tree, like Literature missing writing, if you can jot the names down be a help

loaded my game today i'm in turn 368 the top left buttons have all vanished (the ones where you can access tech tree etc) and yield icons no longer appear. i pretty much have to play in the dark now cos i can't see the tech tree.

Make sure your patched to 1.0.2.21, Clear any files in ModUserData labled with CCTP, clear your cache, download lastest CCTP version and make sure you do NOT have more than one copy of CCTP in you mods folder. Disable any and all other mods

i have 3.1 and latest patch it was working fine until now. also in the digital era it's ridiculous how much production you need to build the super ships and mega ship yard. 1 city has like 700 pro and still says 40 turns to build?!

Well aware of the later era issues, the more you report the more can get balanced.

Make sure you have an _UI folder and not a UI folder.

Is there a bug with the earth CCTP maps? If you declare war on a civ and then make peace, for the rest of the game you cannot ever declare war on them again. The declare war button is blacked out and cannot be clicked. I have experienced this in three different games. I do not have the 3.G patch running right now. Thanks.

Great Engineer does not quick finish some Great Works such as the Manhattan Project. there are a couple of others as well.

Is there a bug with the earth CCTP maps? If you declare war on a civ and then make peace, for the rest of the game you cannot ever declare war on them again. The declare war button is blacked out and cannot be clicked. I have experienced this in three different games. I do not have the 3.G patch running right now. Thanks.
