Let's see... GK has posted about a half-dozen times since his last "got it". This gives me an idea for a new, most gentlemanly Small Wonder:

"The Old Course at the Royal and Ancient"

Required Tech: Masonry, and the city must contain 18 'mined' grassland tiles.
Cost: 10

Effects: Quadruples the Culture per turn rate of your entire Civ, turns every citizen in the city into a caddy. Also gives the AI 4 turns to your 1, but you get 3 "practice swings" per turn.

What do you guys think?

Flight Check: Military Report- 27 workers, 2 warriors, 3 spears, 10 swords, 23 pikes, 2 knights, 1 rifle, 14 cavs, 33 Infs, 16 tanks, 1 cat, 11 cannons, 1 arty, 1 frigate, 4 transports, 5 fighters, 5 bombers, 10 Med Infs, 5 guerrillas, & 2 armies. Plenty of troops, we just need to get rid of some of those outdated units.

Fission due in 1, got a nice pre-build ready with Spokane.

T8– We finish computers! Start on Mini, simply for the Internet, which if I’m not mistaken will kick off our GA.
Research labs ordered up across the board. It’s pretty intresting, we were making almost 150gpt from wealth alone. Expect our treasury to go from 5k to about 500 with all the rushing I’m doing next turn.
I gift Izzy Motor Transport, Flight, and Radio. I probably won’t get the save again.

T9 – Izzy cancels our rubber trade. After all that, how could you!?
Research lab completes & we rush SETI in New York.
Massive rushing of research labs in our wealthiest cities.

T10– We complete SETI in NY.
Talk about game over for any AI that though for a second they had a shot…………

Why’s all the fun stuff always happen on turn 10…….. umm I mean turn 6, yea that’s the ticket!

Start New York on Manhatten Project as an Internet pre-build. *You only have 1 turn to spare once we get Miniturization, so make sure you switch immediately. The only thing that can keep us from winning right now is a lot of nukes so keep them out of the game if possible.

Sell Fission & a bunch of luxs to Izzy for about 150gpt & 300g.

Spend some money rushing courthouses and the like.

Turn down science spending to match learning Miniturization and the build at NY more closely.

Joan bombs Giza down to pop1 and Persia joins in. The X-man has galleons and ironclads cruising our shores

Rush a courthouse and university here and there. Rush a barracks in Basra as I mistrust Xerxes intentions as he has six ironclads, a galleon and a transport in Arabian waters. Start bomber and tanks in couple of cities. Move a couple of bombers into Mecca Dispatch a tank army to Basra and move a transport out of Mecca to Cleveland

X-man owes us a lot of money with nothing offsetting it on our side. I smell a hit

Joan's research on AmphibWar doesn't look so stupid as she has a nice jumping off point in former Roman territory from where ahe can hit Egypt in one.

Shift wealth to military, upgrade some obsoletes, move tanks to the front between Mongolia and Egypt. Fly recon missions to keep an eye on Xerxes who is in the strait between Cleveland and Arabia.

Dyes deal expires. No discontent. Hire a couple of clowns at NY just in case. Found Falmouth between Hyannis and Brownsville.

Ship Isabella a gift of rubber to stiffen her resistance. Sell some oil to Cleo to get her some tanks against X-man and Joan. Cancel a couple of lux deals with the ladies hoping war weariness will bring them to the peace table. and let the coal deal with X-man die.

Otto's dragoons show up outside Giza. Mount up tanks. Kill one dragoon, lose a tank to the second, kill it with a third and find infantry supporting. wipe out the infantry and promote a tank, no losses, no casualties. Cover the tank with MechInf, no more bogies in sight.

Sell Radio to Cleo for 93g+72gpt. she trades her bonnet for one of those shawls, quite fetching.

Renew RoP's with Mongols and Cleo

Otto has an invasion force cruising the coast of Arabia. There are some bombers awaiting his arrival.

Deploy mechanized and armored troops along Egyptian coast to prevent landing. Drop a radar tower on border with Egypt.

I left a hole in Egypt's defenses and Joan drops her invasion force. She's also put a landing force on the coast at Anchorage.

Shift armored and mechanized troops in Egypt to the high ground partially surrounding Joan's troops. Move artillery and mechanized forces to west as part of the French deterrent force.

Cleo gets a gift of silks to celebrate her good judgement. The only thing we have to offer Joan is either money or rockets...Isabella also gets a gift of silks and I hope she'll trade the business suit for a more becoming frock, and maybe get a better hairdo.

Lose track of the growth rates and cities riot all over the place. Hire a bunch of taxmen. I have been spending down the treasury getting our troops upgraded and then reinforcing Chapel Hill as our Northern Defense Force and the units in the west. I just have a really rotten feeling about the Punk Queen (a refugee from Paris in 1968 I think).

We may want to take a breather in the space race to build some happy infrastructure.

Decide to see if I can pull some luxes but can only do it with France. She will trade Dyes and Ivory, 83g+100gpt for Ecology. I don't like the deal because if she pulls the trigger on us she gets the tech. I rebate 40gpt just so she has something to lose should she decides to double cross us. She goes from annoyed to polite.

Rebase some aircraft so we have air support for the troops in the west.

T10 1585
German invasion force drops off a single dragoon in Arabia. Looks like a good opportunity for some tanker promotions. Hit the unit with a bomber, then send in the tank. One dead dragoon, but the tanker failed his boards.

There is another lone German infantryman just waiting for a taste of American bombs. Hit him with three bombiung runs and send in the tankers, One dead grunt, one slightly wounded tank.

We can get peace with Germany and a bunch of slaves or we could send in the tnaks and take Hamburg just to teach Otto a real lesson.

There are pre-builds in place for the first SS parts in New York (Manhattan Project due in 5), and Washington (palace due in 12). Other cities are building solar plants due in 3, 4 or 5 turns and can be shifted to SS part production.SynFib are due in 3 treasury is at +328gpt, science at 80%. It seems that running 100% science for one turn , then down to 80% is the best use of the the infrastructure. (The one turn at 100% spends less gold for that one turn than is replaced in the 80% turns).

There are a few automated pollution clean up workers running around. That seems to be the quickest way to find the hot spots to concentrate the rest as needed.
 
Internet and SETI... sweet!

Have we got Space Flight yet? You mentioned SS pre-builds... but don't we still need Apollo? Or did I miss something?
