First of all ,i hate this ending ,and i hope it won't be an eternal ending for this CFC team ,you know ,im a die hard CFC nationalist. (rare?)

Surely we must have made mistake's ,we all know that by now.But we have to be strong in understanding our mistake's and changing our ways ,and we must take innitiative ,or our people could loose faith in their heimat.

My friends ,i can not live in the void of non-ISDG gaming ,but changing nationality is not my wish.A good substitute could however be a Multi team democracy game on this site ,by now a PM has arrived in Thunderfalls box to request that ,3 teams with private forums ,should keep us ocupied and increase our experience.Because i don't want this team to fall apart ,and have CFC team suffer yet again a grave brain drain.

I would ask all the people here if they wish to be loyal to this team ,that should see this as a new start ,rebuilding on the ashes of the mistake's that we should analyse with reason and withought prejeduce.
I do not ask people to refrain from going as a refugee on an other team to folow the ISDG final ,however i would like them to keep loyal to their Fanatikou roots ,and return with experience to lead our team in the next ISDG to glory.

I would ask you people to support the creation of a Multi-team demo game ,to join it on a team of choice at creation ,get people from the singleplayer Dg involved in the better MP demo gaming ,most of all let us team build by experience.

 Oh dear... The Father of the Demogame... a Nationalist. So, would our nation be the umm... you know..

We could always try and convince TF to have an internal MP demogame (most sites have that, and I think that's where they get some of their experience from). However, the Civ3 chapter will soon come to a close...

I too have thought of a life with ISDG. It has been my life for more than a year and a half. Every day I try to get to the forum, and work with the good fellows on team CFC. (O no! Actually having a real social life? Unthinkable!)

I fully support a multi-team democracy waiting for Civ IV to come out and for an ISDG to be organized from that.

However, on the subject of going to other teams, I believe that we can go to any team we want too, Group I or II. But we will need to ask FortyJ first of course. I plan to go to C3B (if they let me in, and I am confident that they will, or else…) Seeing as that Group I is far behind us, the finals may not start until mid summer or later. During this time I plan to learn some Portuguese from my father (my father’s side comes from Brazil) and from a book or two. Maybe I can get enough down to do something. However, I am not saying I am giving up my root, for I will always be a loyal Fanatican. I will come back with some new ideas on how those other backwards countries work. :p

Though I sometimes have my moments, I am a CFC-loyalist through and through. I enjoy the ISDG the most, as it gives us a chance to match our skill against other forums.

After witnessing our recent C3C debacle, it's quite clear that this team will need my paranoid isolationism techniques for the games to come. If this interim CFC concept happens, I will join one of the teams. But I will be saving most of time for the next ISDG re-match(likely with Civ4).

I'm still debating whether or not to join another team in the finals. However, you best be sure that if CFC is a team in any ISDG, I will be a member of it. This is my first (and only serious) civ site, thus I will be forever loyal to it.

i was wondering why dont the multiplayer demogame have a historcial scenari it would be good to have at least a game in the industrial age or the modern ages rather than ending the game in the middle ages we could re-enact WW 2 or korea etc

This idea was brought up in the single player dg(having 2 teams), i liked the idea alot, but it never got off the ground... I know, I havent been around here much(came late and went a bit clueless), but I would definetly join an internal mp dg

it doesnt just have to be two teams like the minor nations in a scenario can be played by small teams but eh i like the idea alot myself is there any1 i can present the idea to maybe consider it so it may get off the ground?

I PM'd TF about it ,if he agree's and create's the sperate forum's then setting it up is easy ,alas he has to create the user secured forum's first ,it has been 2 days ago that i send the pm.

Maybe TF needs a bit more convincing ,maybe some moderator with better contact can make a case for it. ;)

maybe we could have more than one team for example just as an example if we played a WW 2 scenario etcwe could have teams playing Hungary, Rumania, Italy, England, America etc, just to have an element of human unpredicatability probably perfered a sign up thread its better to have a ccoperative team rather than forced in with ppl u may not like

In the meantime, before we can make an actual case for separate forums we need to do two things:
  • Show there is enough interest to make more than one team, and that we can actually keep it going
  • Show that it won't disrupt existing CFC activities, in particular DG6.

I support any other isdg with the Fanatican nation.

I did not post alot cause i arrived has the end begin , and i still have a lot to learn about multiplayer game  . Its hard to join a team in action cause you didnt start with the rest of the team .

You guys seems to have strong personality and the debates are very interessant. And it would be very fun to discuss and play with you again.I cant wait no longer :goodjob:

-I figure there will be enough interrest if we promote the game well ,a problem the ISDG has is that it's not known enough to attract much more people ,Most peple wind up here little knowing of this concept however in the long run very interrested by the game.

But i could make a first poll in the Main Dg forum to see how much people would like to involve ,i don't know if i should post it in the main forum or the Dg poll forum though as to maximize people viewing it.

-I wouldn't know why it would disrupt the DG6 ,ISDg didn't disrupt it neither and the concept is similar.

I am currently in a multi-group internal DG at Apolyton and it is quite a lot of fun. I believe that we could generate enough interest to get such a game going here. A couple of notes: in the Apolyton DG, each Civ began with 3 settlers and 3 warriors in order to speed up the game. This is very common for pbems. Also, no matter how many people pledge to join, do not have >5 teams (3 AI is ok, though) and 4 is likely better. Pbems notoriously end due to some people pledging to play and then losing interest.

I also recommend, although this is up to you, that the game be played on a pangea map...as this allows maximum fun and interaction. Using a good mapmaker you can easily have a really fun game with 5 total civs...
