I made a whole bunch of changes to your document spelling, numbering and formatting (text size and font are now consistent) but I don't have access to MS Word only Open Office. Attached is the result, don't know if it is of any use.

I was thinking of going through and putting in some information on what was optional and in some cases the different types of options.

I don't think your PDF should have gray highlight in the background. It makes it harder to read. Plain black text with white background should be just fine and have maximum contrast for reading.

Also some pictures I think you should add.

- This to the "New Regions" Subsection.

- This under the "New Terrains" section.

- This under the "Subdued Animals" section.

No problem. The Editing copy is now in .RTF (Rich Editing Format) so it should be no problem with those who don't have Word. I updated the Remade with your changes. Feel free SVN your editing readme as Caveman 2Cosmos Edit Copy (DH) and place it in Docs if you wish.

Edit. .Txt or your uploaded Open Office file here is fine. Open Office

I will add those changes, this Readme is going to be like an introductory Game Manual.

Edit:I uploaded it to Google Docs. Anyone, as long as they are signed in to Google, can edit it. I will make a PDF and SVN every few days. Ignore the first 2 pages, Edit anything after "At A Glance".

Do you actually have that set up somewhere so I can just load it with the alternate terrains for a better comparison picture?

Nope it was taken a long time ago and I did not even save the file after taking the screenshots. You can tell its old because it still had old terrain features like coconuts and Date Palms.

OK, I try and make a new one for both terrain sets - with the Natural Wonders perhaps.
